Sura #87 | Makkah

	1	Glorifica o nome do teu Senhor, o Altíssimo,

	2	Que criou e aperfeiçoou tudo;

	3	Que tudo predestinou e encaminhou;

	4	E que faz brotar o pasto,

	5	Que se converte em feno.

	6	Ensinar-te-emos a recitar (a Mensagem), para que não esqueças,

	7	Senão o que Deus permitir, porque Ele bem conhece o que está manifesto e o que é secreto.

	8	E te encaminharemos pela (senda) mais simples.

	9	Admoesta, pois, porque a admoestação é proveitosa (para o atento)!

	10	Ela guiará aquele que é temente.

	11	Porém, o desventurado a evitará;

	12	Entrará no fogo maior (o infernal),

	13	Onde não morrerá, nem viverá.

	14	Bem-aventurado aquele que se purificar,

	15	E mencionar o nome do seu Senhor e orar!

	16	Entretanto, vós, (ó incrédulos) preferis a vida terrena,

	17	Ainda que a outra seja preferível, e mais duradoura!

	18	Em verdade, isto se acha nos Livros primitivos,

	19	Nos Livros de Abraão e de Moisés.
