Sura #91 | Makkah

	1	Pelo sol e pelo seu esplendor (matinal),

	2	Pela lua, que o segue,

	3	Pelo dia, que o revela,

	4	Pela noite, que o encobre.

	5	Pelo firmamento e por Quem o construiu,

	6	Pela terra e por Quem a dilatou,

	7	Pela alma e por Quem aperfeiçoou,

	8	E lhe imprimiu o discernimento entre o que é certo e o que é errado,

	9	Que será venturoso quem a purificar (a alma),

	10	E desventurado quem a corromper.

	11	A tribo de Tamud, por suas transgressões, desmentiu o seu mensageiro.

	12	E o mais perverso deles se incumbiu (de matar a camela).

	13	Porém, o mensageiro de Deus lhes disse: É a camela de Deus! Não a priveis da sua bebida!

	14	Porém, desmentiram-no e a esquartejaram, pelo que o seu Senhor os exterminou, pelos seus pecados, a todos por igual.

	15	E Ele não teme as conseqüências.
