| 55. | وَرَبُّكَ أَعْلَمُ بِمَن فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۗ وَلَقَدْ فَضَّلْنَا بَعْضَ النَّبِيِّينَ عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍ ۖ وَآتَيْنَا دَاوُودَ زَبُورًا |
| Transliteration: | Warabbuka aAAlamu biman fee alssamawati waalardi walaqad faddalna baAAda alnnabiyyeena AAala baAAdin waatayna dawooda zabooran |
| Yusuf Ali: | And it is your Lord that knoweth best all beings that are in the heavens and on earth: We did bestow on some prophets more (and other) gifts than on others: and We gave to David (the gift of) the Psalms. |
| Shakir: | And your Lord best knows those who are in the heavens and the earth; and certainly We have made some of the prophets to excel others, and to Dawood We gave a scripture. |
| Pickthall: | And thy Lord is Best Aware of all who are in the heavens and the earth. And we preferred some of the prophets above others, and unto David We gave the Psalms. |

| Indonesian: | Dan Tuhanmu lebih mengetahui siapa yang (ada) di langit dan di bumi. Dan sesungguhnya telah Kami lebihkan sebagian nabi-nabi itu atas sebagian (yang lain), dan kami berikan Zabur (kepada) Daud.

| Malay:: | Dan Tuhanmu (wahai Muhammad) lebih mengetahui akan sekalian makhluk yang ada di langit dan di bumi dan sesungguhnya Kami telah melebihkan setengah Nabi-nabi atas setengahnya yang lain dan Kami telah memberikan Kitab Zabur kepada Nabi Daud.

| German: | Und dein Herr kennt diejenigen sehr wohl, die in den Himmeln und auf der Erde sind. Und Wir haben ja einige der Propheten vor anderen bevorzugt. Und Dawud haben Wir ein Buch der Weisheit gegeben. |
