221 | وَلَا تَنكِحُوا الْمُشْرِكَاتِ حَتَّىٰ يُؤْمِنَّ ۚ وَلَأَمَةٌ مُّؤْمِنَةٌ خَيْرٌ مِّن مُّشْرِكَةٍ وَلَوْ أَعْجَبَتْكُمْ ۗ وَلَا تُنكِحُوا الْمُشْرِكِينَ حَتَّىٰ يُؤْمِنُوا ۚ وَلَعَبْدٌ مُّؤْمِنٌ خَيْرٌ مِّن مُّشْرِكٍ وَلَوْ أَعْجَبَكُمْ ۗ أُولَـٰئِكَ يَدْعُونَ إِلَى النَّارِ ۖ وَاللَّهُ يَدْعُو إِلَى الْجَنَّةِ وَالْمَغْفِرَةِ بِإِذْنِهِ ۖ وَيُبَيِّنُ آيَاتِهِ لِلنَّاسِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَذَكَّرُونَ |
| | | | Transliteration 221: | Wala tankihoo almushrikati hatta yuminna walaamatun muminatun khayrun min mushrikatin walaw aAAjabatkum wala tunkihoo almushrikeena hatta yuminoo walaAAabdun muminun khayrun min mushrikin walaw aAAjabakum olaika yadAAoona ila alnnari waAllahu yadAAoo ila aljannati waalmaghfirati biithnihi wayubayyinu ayatihi lilnnasi laAAallahum yatathakkaroona

| | | | Yusuf Ali 221: | Do not marry unbelieving women (idolaters), until they believe: A slave woman who believes is better than an unbelieving woman, even though she allures you. Nor marry (your girls) to unbelievers until they believe: A man slave who believes is better than an unbeliever, even though he allures you. Unbelievers do (but) beckon you to the Fire. But Allah beckons by His Grace to the Garden (of bliss) and forgiveness, and makes His Signs clear to mankind: That they may celebrate His praise.

| | | | Indonesian 221: | Dan janganlah kamu nikahi wanita-wanita musyrik, sebelum mereka beriman. Sesungguhnya wanita budak yang mu'min lebih baik dari wanita musyrik, walaupun dia menarik hatimu. Dan janganlah kamu menikahkan orang-orang musyrik (dengan wanita-wanita mu'min) sebelum mereka beriman. Sesungguhnya budak yang mu'min lebih baik dari orang musyrik walaupun dia menarik hatimu. Mereka mengajak ke neraka, sedang Allah mengajak ke surga dan ampunan dengan izin-Nya. Dan Allah menerangkan ayat-ayat-Nya (perintah-perintah-Nya) kepada manusia supaya mereka mengambil pelajaran.

| | | | Melayu 221: | Dan janganlah kamu berkahwin dengan perempuan-perempuan kafir musyrik sebelum mereka beriman (memeluk agama Islam) dan sesungguhnya seorang hamba perempuan yang beriman itu lebih baik daripada perempuan kafir musyrik sekalipun keadaannya menarik hati kamu dan janganlah kamu (kahwinkan perempuan-perempuan Islam) dengan lelaki-lelaki kafir musyrik sebelum mereka beriman (memeluk agama Islam) dan sesungguhnya seorang hamba lelaki yang beriman lebih baik daripada seorang lelaki musyrik, sekalipun keadaannya menarik hati kamu. (Yang demikian ialah kerana orang-orang kafir itu mengajak ke Neraka sedang Allah mengajak ke Syurga dan memberi keampunan dengan izinNya dan Allah menjelaskan ayat-ayatNya (keterangan-keterangan hukumNya) kepada umat manusia, supaya mereka dapat mengambil pelajaran (daripadanya).

Jene rufen zum Feuer, doch Allah ruft zum Paradies und zur Verzeihung mit Seiner Erlaubnis und macht den Menschen Seine Zeichen klar, damit sie Seiner gedenken mögen. |
