طس ۚ تِلْكَ آيَاتُ الْقُرْآنِ وَكِتَابٍ مُّبِينٍ
Transliteration 1: Taseen tilka ayatu alqurani wakitabin mubeenin
Yusuf Ali 1: These are verses of the Qur'an,-a book that makes (things) clear;
Mohsin Khan: 1: Ta-Sin. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Qur'an, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings]. These are the Verses of the Qur'an, and (it is) a Book (that makes things) clear:
Saheeh: 1: Ta, Seen. These are the verses of the Qur'an and a clear Book
Urdu 1: طسۤ یہ آیتیں قرآن کی اور کتاب روشن کی ہیں

هُدًى وَبُشْرَىٰ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
Transliteration 2: Hudan wabushra lilmumineena
Yusuf Ali 2: A guide: and glad tidings for the believers,-
Mohsin Khan: 2: A guide (to the Right Path) and glad tidings for the believers [who believe in the Oneness of Allah (i.e. Islamic Monotheism)].
Saheeh: 2: As guidance and good tidings for the believers
Urdu 2: ایمان داورں کے لیے ہدایت اور خوشخبری ہے


3  
الَّذِينَ يُقِيمُونَ الصَّلَاةَ وَيُؤْتُونَ الزَّكَاةَ وَهُم بِالْآخِرَةِ هُمْ يُوقِنُونَ
Transliteration 3: Allatheena yuqeemoona alssalata wayutoona alzzakata wahum bialakhirati hum yooqinoona
Yusuf Ali 3: Those who establish regular prayers and give in regular charity, and also have (full) assurance of the hereafter.
Mohsin Khan: 3: Those who perform As-Salat (Iqamat-as-Salat) and give Zakat and they believe with certainty in the Hereafter (resurrection, recompense of their good and bad deeds, Paradise and Hell).
Saheeh: 3: Who establish prayer and give zakah, and of the Hereafter they are certain [in faith].
Urdu 3: جو نماز ادا کرتے ہیں اور زکوةٰ دیتے ہیں اور وہ آخرت پر یقین رکھتے ہیں


4  
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِالْآخِرَةِ زَيَّنَّا لَهُمْ أَعْمَالَهُمْ فَهُمْ يَعْمَهُونَ
Transliteration 4: Inna allatheena la yuminoona bialakhirati zayyanna lahum aAAmalahum fahum yaAAmahoona
Yusuf Ali 4: As to those who believe not in the Hereafter, We have made their deeds pleasing in their eyes; and so they wander about in distraction.
Mohsin Khan: 4: Verily, those who believe not in the Hereafter, We have made their deeds fair-seeming to them, so that they wander about blindly.
Saheeh: 4: Indeed, for those who do not believe in the Hereafter, We have made pleasing to them their deeds, so they wander blindly.
Urdu 4: البتہ جو لوگ آخرت پر ایمان نہیں رکھتے ہم نےان کے اعمال ان کے لیے اچھے کر دکھائے ہیں پس وہ سرگرداں پھرتے ہیں


5  
أُولَـٰئِكَ الَّذِينَ لَهُمْ سُوءُ الْعَذَابِ وَهُمْ فِي الْآخِرَةِ هُمُ الْأَخْسَرُونَ
Transliteration 5: Olaika allatheena lahum sooo alAAathabi wahum fee alakhirati humu alakhsaroona
Yusuf Ali 5: Such are they for whom a grievous Penalty is (waiting); and in the Hereafter theirs will be the greatest loss.
Mohsin Khan: 5: They are those for whom there will be an evil torment (in this world). And in the Hereafter they will be the greatest losers.
Saheeh: 5: Those are the ones for whom there will be the worst of punishment, and in the Hereafter they are the greatest losers.
Urdu 5: وہی ہیں جنہیں برا عذاب ہونا ہے اور وہ آخرت میں بڑے ہی خسارہ میں ہوں گے


6  
وَإِنَّكَ لَتُلَقَّى الْقُرْآنَ مِن لَّدُنْ حَكِيمٍ عَلِيمٍ
Transliteration 6: Wainnaka latulaqqa alqurana min ladun hakeemin AAaleemin
Yusuf Ali 6: As to thee, the Qur'an is bestowed upon thee from the presence of one who is wise and all-knowing.
Mohsin Khan: 6: And verily, you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) are being taught the Qur'an from One, All-Wise, All-Knowing.
Saheeh: 6: And indeed, [O Muhammad], you receive the Qur'an from one Wise and Knowing.
Urdu 6: اور تجھے بڑے حکمت والے علم والے کی طرف سے قرآن دیاجارہا ہے


7  
إِذْ قَالَ مُوسَىٰ لِأَهْلِهِ إِنِّي آنَسْتُ نَارًا سَآتِيكُم مِّنْهَا بِخَبَرٍ أَوْ آتِيكُم بِشِهَابٍ قَبَسٍ لَّعَلَّكُمْ تَصْطَلُونَ
Transliteration 7: Ith qala moosa liahlihi innee anastu naran saateekum minha bikhabarin aw ateekum bishihabin qabasin laAAallakum tastaloona
Yusuf Ali 7: Behold! Moses said to his family: "I perceive a fire; soon will I bring you from there some information, or I will bring you a burning brand to light our fuel, that ye may warm yourselves.
Mohsin Khan: 7: (Remember) when Musa (Moses) said to his household: "Verily I have seen a fire; I will bring you from there some information, or I will bring you a burning brand, that you may warm yourselves."
Saheeh: 7: [Mention] when Moses said to his family, "Indeed, I have perceived a fire. I will bring you from there information or will bring you a burning torch that you may warm yourselves."
Urdu 7: جب موسیٰ نے اپنے گھر والوں سے کہا کہ میں نے آگ دیکھی ہے میں ابھی وہاں سے تمہارے پاس کوئی خبر لاتا ہوں یا کوئی انگارا سلگا کر لاتا ہوں تاکہ تم سینکو


8  
فَلَمَّا جَاءَهَا نُودِيَ أَن بُورِكَ مَن فِي النَّارِ وَمَنْ حَوْلَهَا وَسُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ
Transliteration 8: Falamma jaaha noodiya an boorika man fee alnnari waman hawlaha wasubhana Allahi rabbi alAAalameena
Yusuf Ali 8: But when he came to the (fire), a voice was heard: "Blessed are those in the fire and those around: and glory to Allah, the Lord of the worlds.
Mohsin Khan: 8: But when he came to it, he was called: "Blessed is whosoever is in the fire, and whosoever is round about it! And glorified be Allah, the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinn and all that exists).
Saheeh: 8: But when he came to it, he was called, "Blessed is whoever is at the fire and whoever is around it. And exalted is Allah, Lord of the worlds.
Urdu 8: پھر جب موسیٰ وہاں آئے تو آواز آئی کہ جو آگ میں اور اس کے پاس ہے وہ با برکت ہے اور الله پاک ہے جو تمام جہان کا رب ہے


9  
يَا مُوسَىٰ إِنَّهُ أَنَا اللَّهُ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ
Transliteration 9: Ya moosa innahu ana Allahu alAAazeezu alhakeemu
Yusuf Ali 9: "O Moses! verily, I am Allah, the exalted in might, the wise!....
Mohsin Khan: 9: "O Musa (Moses)! Verily it is I, Allah, the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.
Saheeh: 9: O Moses, indeed it is I - Allah, the Exalted in Might, the Wise."
Urdu 9: اے موسیٰ وہ میں الله ہوں زبردست حکمت والا


10  
وَأَلْقِ عَصَاكَ ۚ فَلَمَّا رَآهَا تَهْتَزُّ كَأَنَّهَا جَانٌّ وَلَّىٰ مُدْبِرًا وَلَمْ يُعَقِّبْ ۚ يَا مُوسَىٰ لَا تَخَفْ إِنِّي لَا يَخَافُ لَدَيَّ الْمُرْسَلُونَ
Transliteration 10: Waalqi AAasaka falamma raaha tahtazzu kaannaha jannun walla mudbiran walam yuAAaqqib ya moosa la takhaf innee la yakhafu ladayya almursaloona
Yusuf Ali 10: "Now do thou throw thy rod!" But when he saw it moving (of its own accord) as if it had been a snake, he turned back in retreat, and retraced not his steps: "O Moses!" (it was said), "Fear not: truly, in My presence, those called as messengers have no fear,-
Mohsin Khan: 10: "And throw down your stick!" But when he saw it moving as if it were a snake, he turned in flight, and did not look back. (It was said:) "O Musa (Moses)! Fear not: verily the Messengers fear not in front of Me.
Saheeh: 10: And [he was told], "Throw down your staff." But when he saw it writhing as if it were a snake, he turned in flight and did not return. [Allah said], "O Moses, fear not. Indeed, in My presence the messengers do not fear.
Urdu 10: اور اپنی لاٹھی ڈال دے پھر جب اسے دیکھا کہ وہ سانپ کی طرح چل رہی ہے تو پیٹھ پھیر کر بھاگا اورپیچھے مڑ کر نہ دیکھا اے موسیٰ ڈرو مت کیونکہ میرے حضور میں رسول ڈرا نہیں کرتے


11  
إِلَّا مَن ظَلَمَ ثُمَّ بَدَّلَ حُسْنًا بَعْدَ سُوءٍ فَإِنِّي غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ
Transliteration 11: Illa man thalama thumma baddala husnan baAAda sooin fainnee ghafoorun raheemun
Yusuf Ali 11: "But if any have done wrong and have thereafter substituted good to take the place of evil, truly, I am Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
Mohsin Khan: 11: "Except him who has done wrong and afterwards has changed evil for good; then surely, I am Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
Saheeh: 11: Otherwise, he who wrongs, then substitutes good after evil - indeed, I am Forgiving and Merciful.
Urdu 11: مگر جس نے ظلم کیا پھر برائی کے بعد اسے نیکی سے بدل دیا ہوتو میں بخشنے والا مہربان ہوں


12  
وَأَدْخِلْ يَدَكَ فِي جَيْبِكَ تَخْرُجْ بَيْضَاءَ مِنْ غَيْرِ سُوءٍ ۖ فِي تِسْعِ آيَاتٍ إِلَىٰ فِرْعَوْنَ وَقَوْمِهِ ۚ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا قَوْمًا فَاسِقِينَ
Transliteration 12: Waadkhil yadaka fee jaybika takhruj baydaa min ghayri sooin fee tisAAi ayatin ila firAAawna waqawmihi innahum kanoo qawman fasiqeena
Yusuf Ali 12: "Now put thy hand into thy bosom, and it will come forth white without stain (or harm): (these are) among the nine Signs (thou wilt take) to Pharaoh and his people: for they are a people rebellious in transgression."
Mohsin Khan: 12: "And put your hand into your bosom, it will come forth white without hurt. (These are) among the nine signs (you will take) to Fir'aun (Pharaoh) and his people. Verily they are a people who are Fasiqun (rebellious, disobedient to Allah).
Saheeh: 12: And put your hand into the opening of your garment [at the breast]; it will come out white without disease. [These are] among the nine signs [you will take] to Pharaoh and his people. Indeed, they have been a people defiantly disobedient."
Urdu 12: اور اپنا ہاتھ اپنےگریبان میں ڈال دے وہ سفید بے عیب نکلے گا یہ دونوں ملا کر نونشانیاں فرعون اور اس کی قوم کی طرف لے کرجا کیونکہ وہ بدکار لوگ ہیں


13  
فَلَمَّا جَاءَتْهُمْ آيَاتُنَا مُبْصِرَةً قَالُوا هَـٰذَا سِحْرٌ مُّبِينٌ
Transliteration 13: Falamma jaathum ayatuna mubsiratan qaloo hatha sihrun mubeenun
Yusuf Ali 13: But when Our Signs came to them, that should have opened their eyes, they said: "This is sorcery manifest!"
Mohsin Khan: 13: But when Our Ayat (proofs, evidence, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) came to them, clear to see, they said: "This is a manifest magic."
Saheeh: 13: But when there came to them Our visible signs, they said, "This is obvious magic."
Urdu 13: پھر جب ان کے پاس آنکھیں کھولنے والی ہماری نشانیاں آئیں تو کہنے لگے یہ تو صاف جادو ہے


14  
وَجَحَدُوا بِهَا وَاسْتَيْقَنَتْهَا أَنفُسُهُمْ ظُلْمًا وَعُلُوًّا ۚ فَانظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الْمُفْسِدِينَ
Transliteration 14: Wajahadoo biha waistayqanatha anfusuhum thulman waAAuluwwan faonthur kayfa kana AAaqibatu almufsideena
Yusuf Ali 14: And they rejected those Signs in iniquity and arrogance, though their souls were convinced thereof: so see what was the end of those who acted corruptly!
Mohsin Khan: 14: And they belied them (those Ayat) wrongfully and arrogantly, though their ownselves were convinced thereof [i.e. those (Ayat ) are from Allah, and Musa (Moses) is the Messenger of Allah in truth, but they disliked to obey Musa (Moses), and hated to believe in his Message of Monotheism]. So see what was the end of the Mufsidun (disbelievers, disobedient to Allah, evil-doers and liars.).
Saheeh: 14: And they rejected them, while their [inner] selves were convinced thereof, out of injustice and haughtiness. So see how was the end of the corrupters.
Urdu 14: اور انہوں نے انکا ظلم اور تکبر سے انکار کرد یا حالانکہ ان کے دل یقین کر چکے تھے پھر دیکھ مفسدوں کا انجام کیسا ہوا


15  
وَلَقَدْ آتَيْنَا دَاوُودَ وَسُلَيْمَانَ عِلْمًا ۖ وَقَالَا الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي فَضَّلَنَا عَلَىٰ كَثِيرٍ مِّنْ عِبَادِهِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ
Transliteration 15: Walaqad atayna dawooda wasulaymana AAilman waqala alhamdu lillahi allathee faddalana AAala katheerin min AAibadihi almumineena
Yusuf Ali 15: We gave (in the past) knowledge to David and Solomon: And they both said: "Praise be to Allah, Who has favoured us above many of his servants who believe!"
Mohsin Khan: 15: And indeed We gave knowledge to Dawud (David) and Sulaiman (Solomon), and they both said: "All the praises and thanks be to Allah, Who has preferred us above many of His believing slaves!"
Saheeh: 15: And We had certainly given to David and Solomon knowledge, and they said, "Praise [is due] to Allah, who has favored us over many of His believing servants."
Urdu 15: اور ہم نے داؤد اور سلیمان کو علم دیا اور کہنے لگے الله کا شکر ہے جس نے ہمیں بہت سے ایمان دار بندوں پر فضیلت دی


16  
وَوَرِثَ سُلَيْمَانُ دَاوُودَ ۖ وَقَالَ يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ عُلِّمْنَا مَنطِقَ الطَّيْرِ وَأُوتِينَا مِن كُلِّ شَيْءٍ ۖ إِنَّ هَـٰذَا لَهُوَ الْفَضْلُ الْمُبِينُ
Transliteration 16: Wawaritha sulaymanu dawooda waqala ya ayyuha alnnasu AAullimna mantiqa alttayri waooteena min kulli shayin inna hatha lahuwa alfadlu almubeenu
Yusuf Ali 16: And Solomon was David's heir. He said: "O ye people! We have been taught the speech of birds, and on us has been bestowed (a little) of all things: this is indeed Grace manifest (from Allah.)"
Mohsin Khan: 16: And Sulaiman (Solomon) inherited (the knowledge of) Dawud (David). He said: "O mankind! We have been taught the language of birds, and on us have been bestowed all things. This, verily, is an evident grace (from Allah)."
Saheeh: 16: And Solomon inherited David. He said, "O people, we have been taught the language of birds, and we have been given from all things. Indeed, this is evident bounty."
Urdu 16: اور سلیمان داؤد کا وارث ہوا اور کہا اے لوگو ہمیں پرندوں کی بولی سکھائی گئی ہے او رہمیں ہر قسم کے سازو سامان دیے گئے ہیں بے شک یہ صریح فضیلت ہے


17  
وَحُشِرَ لِسُلَيْمَانَ جُنُودُهُ مِنَ الْجِنِّ وَالْإِنسِ وَالطَّيْرِ فَهُمْ يُوزَعُونَ
Transliteration 17: Wahushira lisulaymana junooduhu mina aljinni waalinsi waalttayri fahum yoozaAAoona
Yusuf Ali 17: And before Solomon were marshalled his hosts,- of Jinns and men and birds, and they were all kept in order and ranks.
Mohsin Khan: 17: And there were gathered before Sulaiman (Solomon) his hosts of jinn and men, and birds, and they all were set in battle order (marching forward).
Saheeh: 17: And gathered for Solomon were his soldiers of the jinn and men and birds, and they were [marching] in rows.
Urdu 17: اور سلیمان کے پاس اس کے لشکر جن اور انسان اور پرندے جمع کیے جاتے پھر انکی جماعتیں بنائی جاتیں


18  
حَتَّىٰ إِذَا أَتَوْا عَلَىٰ وَادِ النَّمْلِ قَالَتْ نَمْلَةٌ يَا أَيُّهَا النَّمْلُ ادْخُلُوا مَسَاكِنَكُمْ لَا يَحْطِمَنَّكُمْ سُلَيْمَانُ وَجُنُودُهُ وَهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ
Transliteration 18: Hatta itha ataw AAala wadi alnnamli qalat namlatun ya ayyuha alnnamlu odkhuloo masakinakum la yahtimannakum sulaymanu wajunooduhu wahum la yashAAuroona
Yusuf Ali 18: At length, when they came to a (lowly) valley of ants, one of the ants said: "O ye ants, get into your habitations, lest Solomon and his hosts crush you (under foot) without knowing it."
Mohsin Khan: 18: Till, when they came to the valley of the ants, one of the ants said: "O ants! Enter your dwellings, lest Sulaiman (Solomon) and his hosts should crush you, while they perceive not."
Saheeh: 18: Until, when they came upon the valley of the ants, an ant said, "O ants, enter your dwellings that you not be crushed by Solomon and his soldiers while they perceive not."
Urdu 18: یہاں تک کہ جب چیونٹیوں کے میدان پر پہنچے ایک چینوٹی نے کہا اے چیونٹیو اپنے گھروں میں گھس جاؤ تمہیں سلیمان اور اس کی فوجیں نہ پیس ڈالیں اور انہیں خبر بھی نہ ہو


19  
فَتَبَسَّمَ ضَاحِكًا مِّن قَوْلِهَا وَقَالَ رَبِّ أَوْزِعْنِي أَنْ أَشْكُرَ نِعْمَتَكَ الَّتِي أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيَّ وَعَلَىٰ وَالِدَيَّ وَأَنْ أَعْمَلَ صَالِحًا تَرْضَاهُ وَأَدْخِلْنِي بِرَحْمَتِكَ فِي عِبَادِكَ الصَّالِحِينَ
Transliteration 19: Fatabassama dahikan min qawliha waqala rabbi awziAAnee an ashkura niAAmataka allatee anAAamta AAalayya waAAala walidayya waan aAAmala salihan tardahu waadkhilnee birahmatika fee AAibadika alssaliheena
Yusuf Ali 19: So he smiled, amused at her speech; and he said: "O my Lord! so order me that I may be grateful for Thy favours, which thou hast bestowed on me and on my parents, and that I may work the righteousness that will please Thee: And admit me, by Thy Grace, to the ranks of Thy righteous Servants."
Mohsin Khan: 19: So he [Sulaiman (Solomon)] smiled, amused at her speech and said: "My Lord! Grant me the power and ability that I may be grateful for Your Favours which You have bestowed on me and on my parents, and that I may do righteous good deeds that will please You, and admit me by Your Mercy among Your righteous slaves."
Saheeh: 19: So [Solomon] smiled, amused at her speech, and said, "My Lord, enable me to be grateful for Your favor which You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents and to do righteousness of which You approve. And admit me by Your mercy into [the ranks of] Your righteous servants."
Urdu 19: پھر اس کی بات سے مسکرا کر ہنس پڑا اور کہا اے میرے رب مجھے توفیق دے کہ میں تیرے احسان کا شکر کروں جو تو نے مجھ پر اور میرے ماں باپ پر کیا اور یہ کہ میں نیک کام کروں جوتو پسند کرے اور مجھے اپنی رحمت سے اپنے نیک بندوں میں شامل کر لے


20  
وَتَفَقَّدَ الطَّيْرَ فَقَالَ مَا لِيَ لَا أَرَى الْهُدْهُدَ أَمْ كَانَ مِنَ الْغَائِبِينَ
Transliteration 20: Watafaqqada alttayra faqala ma liya la ara alhudhuda am kana mina alghaibeena
Yusuf Ali 20: And he took a muster of the Birds; and he said: "Why is it I see not the Hoopoe? Or is he among the absentees?
Mohsin Khan: 20: He inspected the birds, and said: "What is the matter that I see not the hoopoe? Or is he among the absentees?
Saheeh: 20: And he took attendance of the birds and said, "Why do I not see the hoopoe - or is he among the absent?
Urdu 20: اور پرندوں کی حاضری لی تو کہا کیا بات ہے جو میں ہُد ہُد کو نہیں دیکھتا کیا وہ غیر حاضر ہے


21  
لَأُعَذِّبَنَّهُ عَذَابًا شَدِيدًا أَوْ لَأَذْبَحَنَّهُ أَوْ لَيَأْتِيَنِّي بِسُلْطَانٍ مُّبِينٍ
Transliteration 21: LaoAAaththibannahu AAathaban shadeedan aw laathbahannahu aw layatiyannee bisultanin mubeenin
Yusuf Ali 21: "I will certainly punish him with a severe penalty, or execute him, unless he bring me a clear reason (for absence)."
Mohsin Khan: 21: "I will surely punish him with a severe torment, or slaughter him, unless he brings me a clear reason."
Saheeh: 21: I will surely punish him with a severe punishment or slaughter him unless he brings me clear authorization."
Urdu 21: میں اسے سخت سزا دوں گا یا اسے ذبح کر دوں گا یا وہ میرے پاس کوئی صاف دلیل بیان کرے


22  
فَمَكَثَ غَيْرَ بَعِيدٍ فَقَالَ أَحَطتُ بِمَا لَمْ تُحِطْ بِهِ وَجِئْتُكَ مِن سَبَإٍ بِنَبَإٍ يَقِينٍ
Transliteration 22: Famakatha ghayra baAAeedin faqala ahattu bima lam tuhit bihi wajituka min sabain binabain yaqeenin
Yusuf Ali 22: But the Hoopoe tarried not far: he (came up and) said: "I have compassed (territory) which thou hast not compassed, and I have come to thee from Saba with tidings true.
Mohsin Khan: 22: But the hoopoe stayed not long: he (came up and) said: "I have grasped (the knowledge of a thing) which you have not grasped and I have come to you from Saba' (Sheba) with true news.
Saheeh: 22: But the hoopoe stayed not long and said, "I have encompassed [in knowledge] that which you have not encompassed, and I have come to you from Sheba with certain news.
Urdu 22: پھر تھوڑی دیر کے بعد ہُد ہُد حاضر ہوا اور کہا کہ میں حضور کے پاس وہ خبر لایا ہوں جو حضور کو معلوم نہیں اور سباسے آپ کے پاس ایک یقینی خبر لایا ہوں


23  
إِنِّي وَجَدتُّ امْرَأَةً تَمْلِكُهُمْ وَأُوتِيَتْ مِن كُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَلَهَا عَرْشٌ عَظِيمٌ
Transliteration 23: Innee wajadtu imraatan tamlikuhum waootiyat min kulli shayin walaha AAarshun AAatheemun
Yusuf Ali 23: "I found (there) a woman ruling over them and provided with every requisite; and she has a magnificent throne.
Mohsin Khan: 23: "I found a woman ruling over them: she has been given all things that could be possessed by any ruler of the earth, and she has a great throne.
Saheeh: 23: Indeed, I found [there] a woman ruling them, and she has been given of all things, and she has a great throne.
Urdu 23: میں نے ایک عورت کو پایا جو ان پر بادشاہی کرتی ہے اور اسے ہر چیز دی گئی ہے اور اس کا بڑا تخت ہے


24  
وَجَدتُّهَا وَقَوْمَهَا يَسْجُدُونَ لِلشَّمْسِ مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ وَزَيَّنَ لَهُمُ الشَّيْطَانُ أَعْمَالَهُمْ فَصَدَّهُمْ عَنِ السَّبِيلِ فَهُمْ لَا يَهْتَدُونَ
Transliteration 24: Wajadtuha waqawmaha yasjudoona lilshshamsi min dooni Allahi wazayyana lahumu alshshaytanu aAAmalahum fasaddahum AAani alssabeeli fahum la yahtadoona
Yusuf Ali 24: "I found her and her people worshipping the sun besides Allah: Satan has made their deeds seem pleasing in their eyes, and has kept them away from the Path,- so they receive no guidance,-
Mohsin Khan: 24: "I found her and her people worshipping the sun instead of Allah, and Shaitan (Satan) has made their deeds fair-seeming to them, and has barred them from (Allah's) Way: so they have no guidance."
Saheeh: 24: I found her and her people prostrating to the sun instead of Allah, and Satan has made their deeds pleasing to them and averted them from [His] way, so they are not guided,
Urdu 24: میں نے پایا کہ وہ اور اس کی قوم الله کے سوا سورج کو سجدہ کرتے ہیں اور شیطان نے ان کے اعمال کو انہیں آرستہ کر دکھایا ہے اور انہیں راستہ سے روک دیا ہے سو وہ راہ پر نہیں چلتے


25  
أَلَّا يَسْجُدُوا لِلَّهِ الَّذِي يُخْرِجُ الْخَبْءَ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَيَعْلَمُ مَا تُخْفُونَ وَمَا تُعْلِنُونَ
Transliteration 25: Alla yasjudoo lillahi allathee yukhriju alkhabaa fee alssamawati waalardi wayaAAlamu ma tukhfoona wama tuAAlinoona
Yusuf Ali 25: "(Kept them away from the Path), that they should not worship Allah, Who brings to light what is hidden in the heavens and the earth, and knows what ye hide and what ye reveal.
Mohsin Khan: 25: [As Shaitan (Satan) has barred them from Allah's Way] so they do not worship (prostrate themselves before) Allah, Who brings to light what is hidden in the heavens and the earth, and knows what you conceal and what you reveal. [Tafsir At-Tabari]
Saheeh: 25: [And] so they do not prostrate to Allah, who brings forth what is hidden within the heavens and the earth and knows what you conceal and what you declare -
Urdu 25: الله ہی کو کیوں نہ سجدہ کریں جو آسمانوں اور زمین کی چھپی ہوئی چیزوں کو ظاہر کرتا ہے اور جو تم چھپاتے ہو اورجو ظاہر کرتے ہو سب کو جانتا ہے


26  
اللَّهُ لَا إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ ۩
Transliteration 26: Allahu la ilaha illa huwa rabbu alAAarshi alAAatheemi
Yusuf Ali 26: "Allah!- there is no god but He!- Lord of the Throne Supreme!"
Mohsin Khan: 26: Allah, La ilaha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He), the Lord of the Supreme Throne!
Saheeh: 26: Allah - there is no deity except Him, Lord of the Great Throne."
Urdu 26: الله ہی ایسا ہےکہ اس کے سواکوئی معبود نہیں ہے اوروہ عرش عظیم کا مالک ہے


27  
 ۞ قَالَ سَنَنظُرُ أَصَدَقْتَ أَمْ كُنتَ مِنَ الْكَاذِبِينَ
Transliteration 27: Qala sananthuru asadaqta am kunta mina alkathibeena
Yusuf Ali 27: (Solomon) said: "Soon shall we see whether thou hast told the truth or lied!
Mohsin Khan: 27: [Sulaiman (Solomon)] said: "We shall see whether you speak the truth or you are (one) of the liars.
Saheeh: 27: [Solomon] said, "We will see whether you were truthful or were of the liars.
Urdu 27: کہا ہم ابھی دیکھ لیتے ہیں کہ تو سچ کہتا ہے یا جھوٹوں میں سے ہے


28  
اذْهَب بِّكِتَابِي هَـٰذَا فَأَلْقِهْ إِلَيْهِمْ ثُمَّ تَوَلَّ عَنْهُمْ فَانظُرْ مَاذَا يَرْجِعُونَ
Transliteration 28: Ithhab bikitabee hatha faalqih ilayhim thumma tawalla AAanhum faonthur matha yarjiAAoona
Yusuf Ali 28: "Go thou, with this letter of mine, and deliver it to them: then draw back from them, and (wait to) see what answer they return"...
Mohsin Khan: 28: "Go you with this letter of mine, and deliver it to them, then draw back from them, and see what (answer) they return."
Saheeh: 28: Take this letter of mine and deliver it to them. Then leave them and see what [answer] they will return."
Urdu 28: میرا یہ خط لے جا اور ان کی طرف ڈال دے پھر ان کے ہاں سے واپس آ جا پھر دیکھ وہ کیا جواب دیتے ہیں


29  
قَالَتْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْمَلَأُ إِنِّي أُلْقِيَ إِلَيَّ كِتَابٌ كَرِيمٌ
Transliteration 29: Qalat ya ayyuha almalao innee olqiya ilayya kitabun kareemun
Yusuf Ali 29: (The queen) said: "Ye chiefs! here is delivered to me - a letter worthy of respect.
Mohsin Khan: 29: She said: "O chiefs! Verily! Here is delivered to me a noble letter,
Saheeh: 29: She said, "O eminent ones, indeed, to me has been delivered a noble letter.
Urdu 29: کہنے لگی اے دربار والو میرے پاس ایک معزز خط ڈالا گیا ہے


30  
إِنَّهُ مِن سُلَيْمَانَ وَإِنَّهُ بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
Transliteration 30: Innahu min sulaymana wainnahu bismi Allahi alrrahmani alrraheemi
Yusuf Ali 30: "It is from Solomon, and is (as follows): 'In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful:
Mohsin Khan: 30: "Verily it is from Sulaiman (Solomon), and verily, it (reads): In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful:
Saheeh: 30: Indeed, it is from Solomon, and indeed, it reads: 'In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful,
Urdu 30: وہ خط سلیمان کی طرف سے ہے اور وہ یہ ہے الله کے نام سے شروع کرتا ہوں جو بے حد مہربان نہایت رحم والا ہے


31  
أَلَّا تَعْلُوا عَلَيَّ وَأْتُونِي مُسْلِمِينَ
Transliteration 31: Alla taAAloo AAalayya watoonee muslimeena
Yusuf Ali 31: "'Be ye not arrogant against me, but come to me in submission (to the true Religion).'"
Mohsin Khan: 31: "Be you not exalted against me, but come to me as Muslims (true believers who submit to Allah with full submission).' "
Saheeh: 31: Be not haughty with me but come to me in submission [as Muslims].' "
Urdu 31: میرے سامنے تکبر نہ کرو اور میرے پاس مطیع ہو کر چلی آؤ


32  
قَالَتْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْمَلَأُ أَفْتُونِي فِي أَمْرِي مَا كُنتُ قَاطِعَةً أَمْرًا حَتَّىٰ تَشْهَدُونِ
Transliteration 32: Qalat ya ayyuha almalao aftoonee fee amree ma kuntu qatiAAatan amran hatta tashhadoona
Yusuf Ali 32: She said: "Ye chiefs! advise me in (this) my affair: no affair have I decided except in your presence."
Mohsin Khan: 32: She said: "O chiefs! Advise me in (this) case of mine. I decide no case till you are present with me (and give me your opinions)."
Saheeh: 32: She said, "O eminent ones, advise me in my affair. I would not decide a matter until you witness [for] me."
Urdu 32: کہنے لگی اے دربار والو مجھے میرے کام میں مشورہ دو میں کوئی بات تمہارے حاضر ہوئے بغیر طے نہیں کر تی


33  
قَالُوا نَحْنُ أُولُو قُوَّةٍ وَأُولُو بَأْسٍ شَدِيدٍ وَالْأَمْرُ إِلَيْكِ فَانظُرِي مَاذَا تَأْمُرِينَ
Transliteration 33: Qaloo nahnu oloo quwwatin waoloo basin shadeedin waalamru ilayki faonthuree matha tamureena
Yusuf Ali 33: They said: "We are endued with strength, and given to vehement war: but the command is with thee; so consider what thou wilt command."
Mohsin Khan: 33: They said: "We have great strength, and great ability for war, but it is for you to command: so think over what you will command."
Saheeh: 33: They said, "We are men of strength and of great military might, but the command is yours, so see what you will command."
Urdu 33: کہنے لگے ہم بڑے طاقتور اور بڑے لڑنے والے ہیں اور کام تیرے اختیار میں ہے سو دیکھ لے جو حکم دینا ہے


34  
قَالَتْ إِنَّ الْمُلُوكَ إِذَا دَخَلُوا قَرْيَةً أَفْسَدُوهَا وَجَعَلُوا أَعِزَّةَ أَهْلِهَا أَذِلَّةً ۖ وَكَذَ‌ٰلِكَ يَفْعَلُونَ
Transliteration 34: Qalat inna almulooka itha dakhaloo qaryatan afsadooha wajaAAaloo aAAizzata ahliha athillatan wakathalika yafAAaloona
Yusuf Ali 34: She said: "Kings, when they enter a country, despoil it, and make the noblest of its people its meanest thus do they behave.
Mohsin Khan: 34: She said: "Verily kings, when they enter a town (country), they despoil it and make the most honourable amongst its people the lowest. And thus they do.
Saheeh: 34: She said, "Indeed kings - when they enter a city, they ruin it and render the honored of its people humbled. And thus do they do.
Urdu 34: کہنے لگی بادشاہ جب کسی بستی میں داخل ہوتے ہیں اسے خراب کر دیتے ہیں اور وہاں کے سرداروں کو بے عزت کرتے ہیں اور ایسا ہی کریں گے


35  
وَإِنِّي مُرْسِلَةٌ إِلَيْهِم بِهَدِيَّةٍ فَنَاظِرَةٌ بِمَ يَرْجِعُ الْمُرْسَلُونَ
Transliteration 35: Wainnee mursilatun ilayhim bihadiyyatin fanathiratun bima yarjiAAu almursaloona
Yusuf Ali 35: "But I am going to send him a present, and (wait) to see with what (answer) return (my) ambassadors."
Mohsin Khan: 35: "But verily! I am going to send him a present, and see with what (answer) the messengers return."
Saheeh: 35: But indeed, I will send to them a gift and see with what [reply] the messengers will return."
Urdu 35: اور میں ان کی طرف کچھ تحفہ بھیجتی ہوں پھر دیکھتی ہوں کہ ایلچی کیا جواب لے کر آتے ہیں


36  
فَلَمَّا جَاءَ سُلَيْمَانَ قَالَ أَتُمِدُّونَنِ بِمَالٍ فَمَا آتَانِيَ اللَّهُ خَيْرٌ مِّمَّا آتَاكُم بَلْ أَنتُم بِهَدِيَّتِكُمْ تَفْرَحُونَ
Transliteration 36: Falamma jaa sulaymana qala atumiddoonani bimalin fama ataniya Allahu khayrun mimma atakum bal antum bihadiyyatikum tafrahoona
Yusuf Ali 36: Now when (the embassy) came to Solomon, he said: "Will ye give me abundance in wealth? But that which Allah has given me is better than that which He has given you! Nay it is ye who rejoice in your gift!
Mohsin Khan: 36: So when (the messengers with the present) came to Sulaiman (Solomon), he said: "Will you help me in wealth? What Allah has given me is better than that which He has given you! Nay, you rejoice in your gift!"
Saheeh: 36: So when they came to Solomon, he said, "Do you provide me with wealth? But what Allah has given me is better than what He has given you. Rather, it is you who rejoice in your gift.
Urdu 36: پھر جب سلیمان کے پاس آیا فرمایا کیا تم میری مال سے مدد کرنا چاہتے ہو سو جو کچھ مجھے الله نے دیا ہے اس سے بہتر ہے جو تمہیں دیا ہے بلکہ تم ہی اپنے تحفہ سے خوش رہو


37  
ارْجِعْ إِلَيْهِمْ فَلَنَأْتِيَنَّهُم بِجُنُودٍ لَّا قِبَلَ لَهُم بِهَا وَلَنُخْرِجَنَّهُم مِّنْهَا أَذِلَّةً وَهُمْ صَاغِرُونَ
Transliteration 37: IrjiAA ilayhim falanatiyannahum bijunoodin la qibala lahum biha walanukhrijannahum minha athillatan wahum saghiroona
Yusuf Ali 37: "Go back to them, and be sure we shall come to them with such hosts as they will never be able to meet: We shall expel them from there in disgrace, and they will feel humbled (indeed)."
Mohsin Khan: 37: [Then Sulaiman (Solomon) said to the chief of her messengers who brought the present]: "Go back to them. We verily shall come to them with hosts that they cannot resist, and we shall drive them out from there in disgrace, and they will be abased."
Saheeh: 37: Return to them, for we will surely come to them with soldiers that they will be powerless to encounter, and we will surely expel them therefrom in humiliation, and they will be debased."
Urdu 37: ان کی طرف واپس جاؤ ہم ان پرا یسے لشکر لے کر پہنچیں گے جن کا وہ مقابلہ نہ کر سکیں گے اور ہم انہیں وہاں سے ذلیل کر کے نکال دیں گے


38  
قَالَ يَا أَيُّهَا الْمَلَأُ أَيُّكُمْ يَأْتِينِي بِعَرْشِهَا قَبْلَ أَن يَأْتُونِي مُسْلِمِينَ
Transliteration 38: Qala ya ayyuha almalao ayyukum yateenee biAAarshiha qabla an yatoonee muslimeena
Yusuf Ali 38: He said (to his own men): "Ye chiefs! which of you can bring me her throne before they come to me in submission?"
Mohsin Khan: 38: He said: "O chiefs! Which of you can bring me her throne before they come to me surrendering themselves in obedience?"
Saheeh: 38: [Solomon] said, "O assembly [of jinn], which of you will bring me her throne before they come to me in submission?"
Urdu 38: کہا اے دربار والو تم میں کوئی ہے کہ میرے پاس اس کا تخت لے آئے اس سے پہلے کہ وہ میرے پاس فرمانبردار ہو کر آئيں


39  
قَالَ عِفْرِيتٌ مِّنَ الْجِنِّ أَنَا آتِيكَ بِهِ قَبْلَ أَن تَقُومَ مِن مَّقَامِكَ ۖ وَإِنِّي عَلَيْهِ لَقَوِيٌّ أَمِينٌ
Transliteration 39: Qala AAifreetun mina aljinni ana ateeka bihi qabla an taqooma min maqamika wainne AAalayhi laqawiyyun ameenun
Yusuf Ali 39: Said an 'Ifrit, of the Jinns: "I will bring it to thee before thou rise from thy council: indeed I have full strength for the purpose, and may be trusted."
Mohsin Khan: 39: A 'Ifrit (strong one) from the jinn said: "I will bring it to you before you rise from your place (council). And verily, I am indeed strong, and trustworthy for such work."
Saheeh: 39: A powerful one from among the jinn said, "I will bring it to you before you rise from your place, and indeed, I am for this [task] strong and trustworthy."
Urdu 39: جنوں میں سے ایک دیو نے کہا میں تمہیں وہ لا دیتا ہوں اس سے پہلے کہ تو اپنی جگہ سے اٹھے اور میں اس کے لیے طاقتور امانت دار ہوں


40  
قَالَ الَّذِي عِندَهُ عِلْمٌ مِّنَ الْكِتَابِ أَنَا آتِيكَ بِهِ قَبْلَ أَن يَرْتَدَّ إِلَيْكَ طَرْفُكَ ۚ فَلَمَّا رَآهُ مُسْتَقِرًّا عِندَهُ قَالَ هَـٰذَا مِن فَضْلِ رَبِّي لِيَبْلُوَنِي أَأَشْكُرُ أَمْ أَكْفُرُ ۖ وَمَن شَكَرَ فَإِنَّمَا يَشْكُرُ لِنَفْسِهِ ۖ وَمَن كَفَرَ فَإِنَّ رَبِّي غَنِيٌّ كَرِيمٌ
Transliteration 40: Qala allathee AAindahu AAilmun mina alkitabi ana ateeka bihi qabla an yartadda ilayka tarfuka falamma raahu mustaqirran AAindahu qala hatha min fadli rabbee liyabluwanee aashkuru am akfuru waman shakara fainnama yashkuru linafsihi waman kafara fainna rabbee ghaniyyun kareemun
Yusuf Ali 40: Said one who had knowledge of the Book: "I will bring it to thee within the twinkling of an eye!" Then when (Solomon) saw it placed firmly before him, he said: "This is by the Grace of my Lord!- to test me whether I am grateful or ungrateful! and if any is grateful, truly his gratitude is (a gain) for his own soul; but if any is ungrateful, truly my Lord is Free of all Needs, Supreme in Honour!"
Mohsin Khan: 40: One with whom was knowledge of the Scripture said: "I will bring it to you within the twinkling of an eye!" Then when he [Sulaiman (Solomon)] saw it placed before him, he said: "This is by the Grace of my Lord - to test me whether I am grateful or ungrateful! And whoever is grateful, truly, his gratitude is for (the good of) his ownself; and whoever is ungrateful, (he is ungrateful only for the loss of his ownself). Certainly my Lord is Rich (Free of all needs), Bountiful."
Saheeh: 40: Said one who had knowledge from the Scripture, "I will bring it to you before your glance returns to you." And when [Solomon] saw it placed before him, he said, "This is from the favor of my Lord to test me whether I will be grateful or ungrateful. And whoever is grateful - his gratitude is only for [the benefit of] himself. And whoever is ungrateful - then indeed, my Lord is Free of need and Generous."
Urdu 40: اس شخص نے کہا جس کے پاس کتاب کا علم تھا میں اسے تیری آنکھ جھپکنے سے پہلے لا دیتا ہوں پھر جب اسے اپنے روبرو رکھا دیکھا تو کہنے لگا یہ میرے رب کا ایک فضل ہے تاکہ میری آزمائش کرے کیا میں شکر کرتا ہوں یا ناشکری اور جو شخص شکر کرتا ہے اپنے ہی نفع کے لیے شکر کرتا ہے اورجو ناشکری کرتا ہے تو میرا رب بھی بے پرواہ عزت والا ہے


41  
قَالَ نَكِّرُوا لَهَا عَرْشَهَا نَنظُرْ أَتَهْتَدِي أَمْ تَكُونُ مِنَ الَّذِينَ لَا يَهْتَدُونَ
Transliteration 41: Qala nakkiroo laha AAarshaha nanthur atahtadee am takoonu mina allatheena la yahtadoona
Yusuf Ali 41: He said: "Transform her throne out of all recognition by her: let us see whether she is guided (to the truth) or is one of those who receive no guidance."
Mohsin Khan: 41: He said: "Disguise her throne for her that we may see whether she will be guided (to recognise her throne), or she will be one of those not guided."
Saheeh: 41: He said, "Disguise for her her throne; we will see whether she will be guided [to truth] or will be of those who is not guided."
Urdu 41: کہا اس کے لیے اس کے تخت کی صورت بدل دو ہم دیکھیں کیا اسے پتہ لگتا ہے یا انہیں میں ہوتی ہے جنہیں پتہ نہیں لگتا


42  
فَلَمَّا جَاءَتْ قِيلَ أَهَـٰكَذَا عَرْشُكِ ۖ قَالَتْ كَأَنَّهُ هُوَ ۚ وَأُوتِينَا الْعِلْمَ مِن قَبْلِهَا وَكُنَّا مُسْلِمِينَ
Transliteration 42: Falamma jaat qeela ahakatha AAarshuki qalat kaannahu huwa waooteena alAAilma min qabliha wakunna muslimeena
Yusuf Ali 42: So when she arrived, she was asked, "Is this thy throne?" She said, "It was just like this; and knowledge was bestowed on us in advance of this, and we have submitted to Allah (in Islam)."
Mohsin Khan: 42: So when she came, it was said (to her): "Is your throne like this?" She said: "(It is) as though it were the very same." And [Sulaiman (Solomon) said]: "Knowledge was bestowed on us before her, and we were submitted to Allah (in Islam as Muslims before her)."
Saheeh: 42: So when she arrived, it was said [to her], "Is your throne like this?" She said, "[It is] as though it was it." [Solomon said], "And we were given knowledge before her, and we have been Muslims [in submission to Allah].
Urdu 42: پھر جب آئی کہا گیا کیا تیرا تخت ایسا ہی ہے کہنے لگی گویاکہ یہ وہی ہے اور ہمیں تو پہلے ہی معلوم ہو گیا تھا اور ہم فرمانبردار ہو چکے ہیں


43  
وَصَدَّهَا مَا كَانَت تَّعْبُدُ مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ ۖ إِنَّهَا كَانَتْ مِن قَوْمٍ كَافِرِينَ
Transliteration 43: Wasaddaha ma kanat taAAbudu min dooni Allahi innaha kanat min qawmin kafireena
Yusuf Ali 43: And he diverted her from the worship of others besides Allah: for she was (sprung) of a people that had no faith.
Mohsin Khan: 43: And that which she used to worship besides Allah has prevented her (from Islam), for she was of a disbelieving people.
Saheeh: 43: And that which she was worshipping other than Allah had averted her [from submission to Him]. Indeed, she was from a disbelieving people."
Urdu 43: اور اسے ان چیزو ں سے روک دیا جنہیں الله کےسوا پوجتی تھی بے شک وہ کافروں میں سے تھی


44  
قِيلَ لَهَا ادْخُلِي الصَّرْحَ ۖ فَلَمَّا رَأَتْهُ حَسِبَتْهُ لُجَّةً وَكَشَفَتْ عَن سَاقَيْهَا ۚ قَالَ إِنَّهُ صَرْحٌ مُّمَرَّدٌ مِّن قَوَارِيرَ ۗ قَالَتْ رَبِّ إِنِّي ظَلَمْتُ نَفْسِي وَأَسْلَمْتُ مَعَ سُلَيْمَانَ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ
Transliteration 44: Qeela laha odkhulee alssarha falamma raathu hasibathu lujjatan wakashafat AAan saqayha qala innahu sarhun mumarradun min qawareera qalat rabbi innee thalamtu nafsee waaslamtu maAAa sulaymana lillahi rabbi alAAalameena
Yusuf Ali 44: She was asked to enter the lofty Palace: but when she saw it, she thought it was a lake of water, and she (tucked up her skirts), uncovering her legs. He said: "This is but a palace paved smooth with slabs of glass." She said: "O my Lord! I have indeed wronged my soul: I do (now) submit (in Islam), with Solomon, to the Lord of the Worlds."
Mohsin Khan: 44: It was said to her: "Enter As-Sarh" (a glass surface with water underneath it or a palace): but when she saw it, she thought it was a pool, and she (tucked up her clothes) uncovering her legs. (Sulaiman (Solomon)) said: "Verily, it is a Sarh (a glass surface with water underneath it or a palace)." She said: "My Lord! Verily, I have wronged myself, and I submit [in Islam, together with Sulaiman (Solomon)] to Allah, the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinn and all that exists)."
Saheeh: 44: She was told, "Enter the palace." But when she saw it, she thought it was a body of water and uncovered her shins [to wade through]. He said, "Indeed, it is a palace [whose floor is] made smooth with glass." She said, "My Lord, indeed I have wronged myself, and I submit with Solomon to Allah, Lord of the worlds."
Urdu 44: اسے کہا گیا اس محل میں داخل ہو پھر جب اسے دیکھا خیال کیا کہ وہ گہرا پانی ہے اور اپنی پنڈلیاں کھولیں کہا یہ تو ایسا محل ہے جس میں شیشے جڑے ہوئے ہیں کہنے لگی اے میرے رب میں نے اپنے نفس پر ظلم کیا تھا اور میں سلیمان کے ساتھ الله کی فرمانبردار ہوئی جو سارے جہاں کا رب ہے


45  
وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا إِلَىٰ ثَمُودَ أَخَاهُمْ صَالِحًا أَنِ اعْبُدُوا اللَّهَ فَإِذَا هُمْ فَرِيقَانِ يَخْتَصِمُونَ
Transliteration 45: Walaqad arsalna ila thamooda akhahum salihan ani oAAbudoo Allaha faitha hum fareeqani yakhtasimoona
Yusuf Ali 45: We sent (aforetime), to the Thamud, their brother Salih, saying, "Serve Allah": But behold, they became two factions quarrelling with each other.
Mohsin Khan: 45: And indeed We sent to Thamud their brother Salih, saying: "Worship Allah (Alone and none else). Then look! They became two parties (believers and disbelievers) quarreling with each other."
Saheeh: 45: And We had certainly sent to Thamud their brother Salih, [saying], "Worship Allah," and at once they were two parties conflicting.
Urdu 45: اور ہم نے ثمود کی طرف ان کے بھائی صالح کو بھیجاکہ الله کی بندگی کرو پھر وہ دو فریق ہو کر آپس میں جھگڑنے لگے


46  
قَالَ يَا قَوْمِ لِمَ تَسْتَعْجِلُونَ بِالسَّيِّئَةِ قَبْلَ الْحَسَنَةِ ۖ لَوْلَا تَسْتَغْفِرُونَ اللَّهَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَ
Transliteration 46: Qala ya qawmi lima tastaAAjiloona bialssayyiati qabla alhasanati lawla tastaghfiroona Allaha laAAallakum turhamoona
Yusuf Ali 46: He said: "O my people! why ask ye to hasten on the evil in preference to the good? If only ye ask Allah for forgiveness, ye may hope to receive mercy.
Mohsin Khan: 46: He said: "O my people! Why do you seek to hasten the evil (torment) before the good (Allah's Mercy)? Why seek you not the Forgiveness of Allah, that you may receive mercy?"
Saheeh: 46: He said, "O my people, why are you impatient for evil instead of good? Why do you not seek forgiveness of Allah that you may receive mercy?"
Urdu 46: کہا اے میری قوم بھلائی سے پہلے برائی کو کیوں جلدی مانگتے ہو الله سے گناہ کیوں نہیں بخشواتے تاکہ تم پر رحم کیا جائے


47  
قَالُوا اطَّيَّرْنَا بِكَ وَبِمَن مَّعَكَ ۚ قَالَ طَائِرُكُمْ عِندَ اللَّهِ ۖ بَلْ أَنتُمْ قَوْمٌ تُفْتَنُونَ
Transliteration 47: Qaloo ittayyarna bika wabiman maAAaka qala tairukum AAinda Allahi bal antum qawmun tuftanoona
Yusuf Ali 47: They said: "Ill omen do we augur from thee and those that are with thee". He said: "Your ill omen is with Allah; yea, ye are a people under trial."
Mohsin Khan: 47: They said: "We augur ill omen from you and those with you." He said: "Your ill omen is with Allah; nay, but you are a people that are being tested."
Saheeh: 47: They said, "We consider you a bad omen, you and those with you." He said, "Your omen is with Allah. Rather, you are a people being tested."
Urdu 47: کہنے لگے ہمیں تو تجھ سے اور تیرے ساتھیوں سے نحوست معلوم ہوئی کہا تہاری نحوست الله کی طرف سے ہے بلکہ تم لوگ آزمائش میں ڈالے گئے ہو


48  
وَكَانَ فِي الْمَدِينَةِ تِسْعَةُ رَهْطٍ يُفْسِدُونَ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَا يُصْلِحُونَ
Transliteration 48: Wakana fee almadeenati tisAAatu rahtin yufsidoona fee alardi wala yuslihoona
Yusuf Ali 48: There were in the city nine men of a family, who made mischief in the land, and would not reform.
Mohsin Khan: 48: And there were in the city nine men (from the sons of their chiefs), who made mischief in the land, and would not reform.
Saheeh: 48: And there were in the city nine family heads causing corruption in the land and not amending [its affairs].
Urdu 48: اور اس شہر میں نو آدمی ایسے تھے جو زمین میں فساد کرتے تھے اوراصلاح نہیں کرتے تھے


49  
قَالُوا تَقَاسَمُوا بِاللَّهِ لَنُبَيِّتَنَّهُ وَأَهْلَهُ ثُمَّ لَنَقُولَنَّ لِوَلِيِّهِ مَا شَهِدْنَا مَهْلِكَ أَهْلِهِ وَإِنَّا لَصَادِقُونَ
Transliteration 49: Qaloo taqasamoo biAllahi lanubayyitannahu waahlahu thumma lanaqoolanna liwaliyyihi ma shahidna mahlika ahlihi wainna lasadiqoona
Yusuf Ali 49: They said: "Swear a mutual oath by Allah that we shall make a secret night attack on him and his people, and that we shall then say to his heir (when he seeks vengeance): 'We were not present at the slaughter of his people, and we are positively telling the truth.'"
Mohsin Khan: 49: They said: "Swear one to another by Allah that we shall make a secret night attack on him and his household, and thereafter we will surely say to his near relatives: 'We witnessed not the destruction of his household, and verily we are telling the truth.'"
Saheeh: 49: They said, "Take a mutual oath by Allah that we will kill him by night, he and his family. Then we will say to his executor, 'We did not witness the destruction of his family, and indeed, we are truthful.' "
Urdu 49: کہنے لگے آپس میں الله کی قسم کھاؤ کہ صالح اور اس کے گھر والوں پر شبخوں ماریں پھر اس کے وارث سے کہہ دیں ہم تو اس کے کنبہ کی ہلاکت کے وقت موجود ہی نہ تھے اور بے شک ہم سچے ہیں


50  
وَمَكَرُوا مَكْرًا وَمَكَرْنَا مَكْرًا وَهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ
Transliteration 50: Wamakaroo makran wamakarna makran wahum la yashAAuroona
Yusuf Ali 50: They plotted and planned, but We too planned, even while they perceived it not.
Mohsin Khan: 50: So they plotted a plot, and We plotted a plot, while they perceived not.
Saheeh: 50: And they planned a plan, and We planned a plan, while they perceived not.
Urdu 50: اور انہوں نے ایک داؤ کیا اور ہم نے بھی ایساداؤ کیا کہ انہیں خبربھی نہ ہوئی


51  
فَانظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ مَكْرِهِمْ أَنَّا دَمَّرْنَاهُمْ وَقَوْمَهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ
Transliteration 51: Faonthur kayfa kana AAaqibatu makrihim anna dammarnahum waqawmahum ajmaAAeena
Yusuf Ali 51: Then see what was the end of their plot!- this, that We destroyed them and their people, all (of them).
Mohsin Khan: 51: Then see how was the end of their plot! Verily! We destroyed them and their nation, all together.
Saheeh: 51: Then look how was the outcome of their plan - that We destroyed them and their people, all.
Urdu 51: پھر دیکھو ان کے داؤ کا کیا انجام ہوا کہ ہم نے انہیں اوران کی ساری قوم کو ہلاک کر دیا


52  
فَتِلْكَ بُيُوتُهُمْ خَاوِيَةً بِمَا ظَلَمُوا ۗ إِنَّ فِي ذَ‌ٰلِكَ لَآيَةً لِّقَوْمٍ يَعْلَمُونَ
Transliteration 52: Fatilka buyootuhum khawiyatan bima thalamoo inna fee thalika laayatan liqawmin yaAAlamoona
Yusuf Ali 52: Now such were their houses, - in utter ruin, - because they practised wrong-doing. Verily in this is a Sign for people of knowledge.
Mohsin Khan: 52: These are their houses in utter ruin, for they did wrong. Verily, in this is indeed an Ayah (a lesson or a sign) for people who know.
Saheeh: 52: So those are their houses, desolate because of the wrong they had done. Indeed in that is a sign for people who know.
Urdu 52: سو یہ ان کے گھر ہیں جو ان کے ظلم کے سبب سے ویران پڑے ہیں بے شک اس میں دانشمندو ں کے لیے عبرت ہے


53  
وَأَنجَيْنَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَكَانُوا يَتَّقُونَ
Transliteration 53: Waanjayna allatheena amanoo wakanoo yattaqoona
Yusuf Ali 53: And We saved those who believed and practised righteousness.
Mohsin Khan: 53: And We saved those who believed, and used to fear Allah, and keep their duty to Him.
Saheeh: 53: And We saved those who believed and used to fear Allah.
Urdu 53: اور ہم نے ایمان اور تقویٰ والوں کو نجات دی


54  
وَلُوطًا إِذْ قَالَ لِقَوْمِهِ أَتَأْتُونَ الْفَاحِشَةَ وَأَنتُمْ تُبْصِرُونَ
Transliteration 54: Walootan ith qala liqawmihi atatoona alfahishata waantum tubsiroona
Yusuf Ali 54: (We also sent) Lut (as a messenger): behold, He said to his people, "Do ye do what is shameful though ye see (its iniquity)?
Mohsin Khan: 54: And (remember) Lut (Lot)! When he said to his people. Do you commit Al-Fahishah (evil, great sin, every kind of unlawful sexual intercourse, sodomy) while you see (one another doing evil without any screen)?"
Saheeh: 54: And [mention] Lot, when he said to his people, "Do you commit immorality while you are seeing?
Urdu 54: اورلوط کو جب اس نے اپنی قوم کو کہا کیا تم بے حیائی کرتے ہو حالانکہ تم سمجھ دا ر ہو


55  
أَئِنَّكُمْ لَتَأْتُونَ الرِّجَالَ شَهْوَةً مِّن دُونِ النِّسَاءِ ۚ بَلْ أَنتُمْ قَوْمٌ تَجْهَلُونَ
Transliteration 55: Ainnakum latatoona alrrijala shahwatan min dooni alnnisai bal antum qawmun tajhaloona
Yusuf Ali 55: Would ye really approach men in your lusts rather than women? Nay, ye are a people (grossly) ignorant!
Mohsin Khan: 55: "Do you practise your lusts on men instead of women? Nay, but you are a people who behave senselessly."
Saheeh: 55: Do you indeed approach men with desire instead of women? Rather, you are a people behaving ignorantly."
Urdu 55: کیا تم عورتوں کو چھوڑ کر مردوں پر خواہش کر کے آتے ہو بلکہ تم لوگ جاہل ہو


56  
 ۞ فَمَا كَانَ جَوَابَ قَوْمِهِ إِلَّا أَن قَالُوا أَخْرِجُوا آلَ لُوطٍ مِّن قَرْيَتِكُمْ ۖ إِنَّهُمْ أُنَاسٌ يَتَطَهَّرُونَ
Transliteration 56: Fama kana jawaba qawmihi illa an qaloo akhrijoo ala lootin min qaryatikum innahum onasun yatatahharoona
Yusuf Ali 56: But his people gave no other answer but this: they said, "Drive out the followers of Lut from your city: these are indeed men who want to be clean and pure!"
Mohsin Khan: 56: There was no other answer given by his people except that they said: "Drive out the family of Lut (Lot) from your city Verily, these are men who want to be clean and pure!"
Saheeh: 56: But the answer of his people was not except that they said, "Expel the family of Lot from your city. Indeed, they are people who keep themselves pure."
Urdu 56: پھر اس کی قوم کا اور کوئی جواب نہ تھا سوائے ا س کے کہ یہ کہا لوط کے گھر والوں کو اپنی بستی سے نکال دو یہ لوگ بڑے پاک بنتے ہیں


57  
فَأَنجَيْنَاهُ وَأَهْلَهُ إِلَّا امْرَأَتَهُ قَدَّرْنَاهَا مِنَ الْغَابِرِينَ
Transliteration 57: Faanjaynahu waahlahu illa imraatahu qaddarnaha mina alghabireena
Yusuf Ali 57: But We saved him and his family, except his wife; her We destined to be of those who lagged behind.
Mohsin Khan: 57: So We saved him and his family, except his wife. We destined her to be of those who remained behind.
Saheeh: 57: So We saved him and his family, except for his wife; We destined her to be of those who remained behind.
Urdu 57: پھر ہم نے لوط اور اس کے گھر والوں کو سوائے اس کی بیوی کے بچا لیا ہم اس کو پیچھے رہنے والو ں میں ٹھہرا چکے تھے


58  
وَأَمْطَرْنَا عَلَيْهِم مَّطَرًا ۖ فَسَاءَ مَطَرُ الْمُنذَرِينَ
Transliteration 58: Waamtarna AAalayhim mataran fasaa mataru almunthareena
Yusuf Ali 58: And We rained down on them a shower (of brimstone): and evil was the shower on those who were admonished (but heeded not)!
Mohsin Khan: 58: And We rained down on them a rain (of stones). So evil was the rain of those who were warned.
Saheeh: 58: And We rained upon them a rain [of stones], and evil was the rain of those who were warned.
Urdu 58: اورہم نے ان پر مینہ برسایا پھر ڈرائے ہوؤں کا مینہ برا تھا


59  
قُلِ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ وَسَلَامٌ عَلَىٰ عِبَادِهِ الَّذِينَ اصْطَفَىٰ ۗ آللَّهُ خَيْرٌ أَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ
Transliteration 59: Quli alhamdu lillahi wasalamun AAala AAibadihi allatheena istafa allahu khayrun amma yushrikoona
Yusuf Ali 59: Say: Praise be to Allah, and Peace on his servants whom He has chosen (for his Message). (Who) is better?- Allah or the false gods they associate (with Him)?
Mohsin Khan: 59: Say (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم): "Praise and thanks be to Allah, and peace be on His slaves whom He has chosen (for His Message)! Is Allah better, or (all) that you ascribe as partners (to Him)?" (Of course, Allah is Better).
Saheeh: 59: Say, [O Muhammad], "Praise be to Allah, and peace upon His servants whom He has chosen. Is Allah better or what they associate with Him?"
Urdu 59: کہہ دے سب تعریف الله کے لیے ہے اور اس کے برگزیدہ بندوں پر سلام ہے بھلا الله بہتر ہے یا جنہیں وہ شریک بناتے ہیں


60  
أَمَّنْ خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ وَأَنزَلَ لَكُم مِّنَ السَّمَاءِ مَاءً فَأَنبَتْنَا بِهِ حَدَائِقَ ذَاتَ بَهْجَةٍ مَّا كَانَ لَكُمْ أَن تُنبِتُوا شَجَرَهَا ۗ أَإِلَـٰهٌ مَّعَ اللَّهِ ۚ بَلْ هُمْ قَوْمٌ يَعْدِلُونَ
Transliteration 60: Amman khalaqa alssamawati waalarda waanzala lakum mina alssamai maan faanbatna bihi hadaiqa thata bahjatin ma kana lakum an tunbitoo shajaraha ailahun maAAa Allahi bal hum qawmun yaAAdiloona
Yusuf Ali 60: Or, Who has created the heavens and the earth, and Who sends you down rain from the sky? Yea, with it We cause to grow well-planted orchards full of beauty of delight: it is not in your power to cause the growth of the trees in them. (Can there be another) god besides Allah? Nay, they are a people who swerve from justice.
Mohsin Khan: 60: Is not He (better than your gods) Who created the heavens and the earth, and sends down for you water (rain) from the sky, whereby We cause to grow wonderful gardens full of beauty and delight? It is not in your ability to cause the growth of their trees. Is there any ilah (god) with Allah? Nay, but they are a people who ascribe equals (to Him)!
Saheeh: 60: [More precisely], is He [not best] who created the heavens and the earth and sent down for you rain from the sky, causing to grow thereby gardens of joyful beauty which you could not [otherwise] have grown the trees thereof? Is there a deity with Allah? [No], but they are a people who ascribe equals [to Him].
Urdu 60: بھلا کس نے آسمان اور زمین بنائے اور تمہارے لیے آسمان سے پانی اتار پھر ہم نے اس سے رونق والے باغ اگائے تمہارا کام نہ تھا کہ ان کے درخت اگاتے کیا الله تعالیٰ کے ساتھ کوئی اوربھی معبود ہے بلکہ یہ لوگ کجروی کر رہے ہیں


61  
أَمَّن جَعَلَ الْأَرْضَ قَرَارًا وَجَعَلَ خِلَالَهَا أَنْهَارًا وَجَعَلَ لَهَا رَوَاسِيَ وَجَعَلَ بَيْنَ الْبَحْرَيْنِ حَاجِزًا ۗ أَإِلَـٰهٌ مَّعَ اللَّهِ ۚ بَلْ أَكْثَرُهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
Transliteration 61: Amman jaAAala alarda qararan wajaAAala khilalaha anharan wajaAAala laha rawasiya wajaAAala bayna albahrayni hajizan ailahun maAAa Allahi bal aktharuhum la yaAAlamoona
Yusuf Ali 61: Or, Who has made the earth firm to live in; made rivers in its midst; set thereon mountains immovable; and made a separating bar between the two bodies of flowing water? (can there be another) god besides Allah? Nay, most of them know not.
Mohsin Khan: 61: Is not He (better than your gods) Who has made the earth as a fixed abode, and has placed rivers in its midst, and has placed firm mountains therein, and has set a barrier between the two seas (of salt and sweet water)? Is there any ilah (god) with Allah? Nay, but most of them know not!
Saheeh: 61: Is He [not best] who made the earth a stable ground and placed within it rivers and made for it firmly set mountains and placed between the two seas a barrier? Is there a deity with Allah? [No], but most of them do not know.
Urdu 61: بھلا زمین کو ٹھہرنے کی جگہ کس نے بنایا اور اس میں ندیاں جاری کیں اور زمین کے لنگر بنائے اور دو دریاؤں میں پردہ رکھا کیا الله کے ساتھ کوئی اوربھی معبود ہے بلکہ اکثر ان میں بے سمجھ ہیں


62  
أَمَّن يُجِيبُ الْمُضْطَرَّ إِذَا دَعَاهُ وَيَكْشِفُ السُّوءَ وَيَجْعَلُكُمْ خُلَفَاءَ الْأَرْضِ ۗ أَإِلَـٰهٌ مَّعَ اللَّهِ ۚ قَلِيلًا مَّا تَذَكَّرُونَ
Transliteration 62: Amman yujeebu almudtarra itha daAAahu wayakshifu alssooa wayajAAalukum khulafaa alardi ailahun maAAa Allahi qaleelan ma tathakkaroona
Yusuf Ali 62: Or, Who listens to the (soul) distressed when it calls on Him, and Who relieves its suffering, and makes you (mankind) inheritors of the earth? (Can there be another) god besides Allah? Little it is that ye heed!
Mohsin Khan: 62: Is not He (better than your gods) Who responds to the distressed one, when he calls on Him, and Who removes the evil, and makes you inheritors of the earth, generations after generations? Is there any ilah (god) with Allah? Little is that you remember!
Saheeh: 62: Is He [not best] who responds to the desperate one when he calls upon Him and removes evil and makes you inheritors of the earth? Is there a deity with Allah? Little do you remember.
Urdu 62: بھلا کون ہے جوبے قرار کی دعا قبول کرتا ہے اوربرائی کو دور کرتا ہے اور تمہیں زمین میں نائب بناتا ہے کیا الله کے ساتھ کوئی اور معبود بھی ہے تم بہت ہی کم سمجھتے ہو


63  
أَمَّن يَهْدِيكُمْ فِي ظُلُمَاتِ الْبَرِّ وَالْبَحْرِ وَمَن يُرْسِلُ الرِّيَاحَ بُشْرًا بَيْنَ يَدَيْ رَحْمَتِهِ ۗ أَإِلَـٰهٌ مَّعَ اللَّهِ ۚ تَعَالَى اللَّهُ عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ
Transliteration 63: Amman yahdeekum fee thulumati albarri waalbahri waman yursilu alrriyaha bushran bayna yaday rahmatihi ailahun maAAa Allahi taAAala Allahu AAamma yushrikoona
Yusuf Ali 63: Or, Who guides you through the depths of darkness on land and sea, and Who sends the winds as heralds of glad tidings, going before His Mercy? (Can there be another) god besides Allah?- High is Allah above what they associate with Him!
Mohsin Khan: 63: Is not He (better than your gods) Who guides you in the darkness of the land and the sea, and Who sends the winds as heralds of glad tidings, going before His Mercy (rain)? Is there any ilah (god) with Allah? High Exalted be Allah above all that they associate as partners (to Him)!
Saheeh: 63: Is He [not best] who guides you through the darknesses of the land and sea and who sends the winds as good tidings before His mercy? Is there a deity with Allah? High is Allah above whatever they associate with Him.
Urdu 63: بھلا کون ہے جو تمہیں جنگل اور دریا کے اندھیروں میں راستہ بتاتاہے اور اپنی رحمت سے پہلے کون خوشخبری کی ہوائیں چلاتا ہے کیا الله کے ساتھ کوئی اور معبود ہے الله ان کے شرک کرنے سے بہت بلند ہے


64  
أَمَّن يَبْدَأُ الْخَلْقَ ثُمَّ يُعِيدُهُ وَمَن يَرْزُقُكُم مِّنَ السَّمَاءِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۗ أَإِلَـٰهٌ مَّعَ اللَّهِ ۚ قُلْ هَاتُوا بُرْهَانَكُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ صَادِقِينَ
Transliteration 64: Amman yabdao alkhalqa thumma yuAAeeduhu waman yarzuqukum mina alssamai waalardi ailahun maAAa Allahi qul hatoo burhanakum in kuntum sadiqeena
Yusuf Ali 64: Or, Who originates creation, then repeats it, and who gives you sustenance from heaven and earth? (Can there be another) god besides Allah? Say, "Bring forth your argument, if ye are telling the truth!"
Mohsin Khan: 64: Is not He (better than your so-called gods) Who originates creation, and shall thereafter repeat it, and Who provides for you from heaven and earth? Is there any ilah (god) with Allah? Say: "Bring forth your proofs, if you are truthful."
Saheeh: 64: Is He [not best] who begins creation and then repeats it and who provides for you from the heaven and earth? Is there a deity with Allah? Say, "Produce your proof, if you should be truthful."
Urdu 64: بھلا کون ہے جو از سرِ نو خلقت کو پیدا کرتا ہے پھر اسے دوبارہ بنائے گا اور کون ہے وہ جو تمہیں آسمان اور زمین سے روزی دیتا ہے کیا الله کے ساتھ کوئی اور بھی معبود ہے کہہ دے اپنی دلیل لاؤ اگر تم سچےہو


65  
قُل لَّا يَعْلَمُ مَن فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ الْغَيْبَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ ۚ وَمَا يَشْعُرُونَ أَيَّانَ يُبْعَثُونَ
Transliteration 65: Qul la yaAAlamu man fee alssamawati waalardi alghayba illa Allahu wama yashAAuroona ayyana yubAAathoona
Yusuf Ali 65: Say: None in the heavens or on earth, except Allah, knows what is hidden: nor can they perceive when they shall be raised up (for Judgment).
Mohsin Khan: 65: Say: "None in the heavens and the earth knows the Ghaib (Unseen) except Allah, nor can they perceive when they shall be resurrected."
Saheeh: 65: Say, "None in the heavens and earth knows the unseen except Allah, and they do not perceive when they will be resurrected."
Urdu 65: کہہ دے الله کے سوا آسمانوں اور زمین میں کوئی بھی غیب کی بات نہیں جانتا اور انہیں اس کی بھی خبر نہیں کہ کب اٹھائے جائیں گے


66  
بَلِ ادَّارَكَ عِلْمُهُمْ فِي الْآخِرَةِ ۚ بَلْ هُمْ فِي شَكٍّ مِّنْهَا ۖ بَلْ هُم مِّنْهَا عَمُونَ
Transliteration 66: Bali iddaraka AAilmuhum fee alakhirati bal hum fee shakkin minha bal hum minha AAamoona
Yusuf Ali 66: Still less can their knowledge comprehend the Hereafter: Nay, they are in doubt and uncertainty thereanent; nay, they are blind thereunto!
Mohsin Khan: 66: Nay, they have no knowledge of the Hereafter. Nay, they are in doubt about it. Nay, they are in complete blindness about it.
Saheeh: 66: Rather, their knowledge is arrested concerning the Hereafter. Rather, they are in doubt about it. Rather, they are, concerning it, blind.
Urdu 66: بلکہ آخرت کے معاملے میں تو ان کی سمجھ گئی گزری ہے بلکہ وہ اس سے شک میں ہیں بلکہ وہ اس سے اندھے ہی ہیں


67  
وَقَالَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا أَإِذَا كُنَّا تُرَابًا وَآبَاؤُنَا أَئِنَّا لَمُخْرَجُونَ
Transliteration 67: Waqala allatheena kafaroo aitha kunna turaban waabaona ainna lamukhrajoona
Yusuf Ali 67: The Unbelievers say: "What! when we become dust,- we and our fathers,- shall we really be raised (from the dead)?
Mohsin Khan: 67: And those who disbelieve say: "When we have become dust - we and our fathers - shall we really be brought forth (again)?
Saheeh: 67: And those who disbelieve say, "When we have become dust as well as our forefathers, will we indeed be brought out [of the graves]?
Urdu 67: اور کافر کہتے ہیں کہ کیا جب ہم اور ہمارے باپ دادا مٹی ہوگئے کیا ہم زمین سے نکالے جائیں گے


68  
لَقَدْ وُعِدْنَا هَـٰذَا نَحْنُ وَآبَاؤُنَا مِن قَبْلُ إِنْ هَـٰذَا إِلَّا أَسَاطِيرُ الْأَوَّلِينَ
Transliteration 68: Laqad wuAAidna hatha nahnu waabaona min qablu in hatha illa asateeru alawwaleena
Yusuf Ali 68: "It is true we were promised this,- we and our fathers before (us): these are nothing but tales of the ancients."
Mohsin Khan: 68: "Indeed we were promised this - we and our forefathers before (us), verily, these are nothing but tales of ancients."
Saheeh: 68: We have been promised this, we and our forefathers, before. This is not but legends of the former peoples."
Urdu 68: اس کا تو ہم سے اور ہمارےپہلے باپ دادا سے وعدہ ہوتا آیا ہے یہ تو صرف پہلوں کی کہانیاں ہیں


69  
قُلْ سِيرُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ فَانظُرُوا كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الْمُجْرِمِينَ
Transliteration 69: Qul seeroo fee alardi faonthuroo kayfa kana AAaqibatu almujrimeena
Yusuf Ali 69: Say: "Go ye through the earth and see what has been the end of those guilty (of sin)."
Mohsin Khan: 69: Say to them (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) "Travel in the land and see how has been the end of the Mujrimun (criminals, those who denied Allah's Messengers and disobeyed Allah)."
Saheeh: 69: Say, [O Muhammad], "Travel through the land and observe how was the end of the criminals."
Urdu 69: کہہ دے تم زمین میں چل پھر کر دیکھو کہ گناہگاروں کا کیا انجام ہوا


70  
وَلَا تَحْزَنْ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا تَكُن فِي ضَيْقٍ مِّمَّا يَمْكُرُونَ
Transliteration 70: Wala tahzan AAalayhim wala takun fee dayqin mimma yamkuroona
Yusuf Ali 70: But grieve not over them, nor distress thyself because of their plots.
Mohsin Khan: 70: And grieve you not over them, nor be straitened (in distress) because of what they plot.
Saheeh: 70: And grieve not over them or be in distress from what they conspire.
Urdu 70: اور ان پر غم نہ کر اور ان کے فریب کرنے سے تنگ دل نہ ہو


71  
وَيَقُولُونَ مَتَىٰ هَـٰذَا الْوَعْدُ إِن كُنتُمْ صَادِقِينَ
Transliteration 71: Wayaqooloona mata hatha alwaAAdu in kuntum sadiqeena
Yusuf Ali 71: They also say: "When will this promise (come to pass)? (Say) if ye are truthful."
Mohsin Khan: 71: And they (the disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah) say: "When (will) this promise (be fulfilled), if you are truthful?"
Saheeh: 71: And they say, "When is [the fulfillment of] this promise, if you should be truthful?"
Urdu 71: اور کہتے ہیں یہ وعدہ کب ہوگا اگر تم سچے ہو


72  
قُلْ عَسَىٰ أَن يَكُونَ رَدِفَ لَكُم بَعْضُ الَّذِي تَسْتَعْجِلُونَ
Transliteration 72: Qul AAasa an yakoona radifa lakum baAAdu allathee tastaAAjiloona
Yusuf Ali 72: Say: "It may be that some of the events which ye wish to hasten on may be (close) in your pursuit!"
Mohsin Khan: 72: Say: "Perhaps that which you wish to hasten on, may be close behind you.
Saheeh: 72: Say, "Perhaps it is close behind you - some of that for which you are impatient.
Urdu 72: کہہ دے شاید بعض وہ چیزیں جن کی تم جلدی کرتے ہو تمہاری پیٹھ کے پیچھے آلگی ہوں


73  
وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَذُو فَضْلٍ عَلَى النَّاسِ وَلَـٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ لَا يَشْكُرُونَ
Transliteration 73: Wainna rabbaka lathoo fadlin AAala alnnasi walakinna aktharahum la yashkuroona
Yusuf Ali 73: But verily thy Lord is full of grace to mankind: Yet most of them are ungrateful.
Mohsin Khan: 73: "Verily, your Lord is full of Grace for mankind, yet most of them do not give thanks."
Saheeh: 73: And indeed, your Lord is full of bounty for the people, but most of them do not show gratitude."
Urdu 73: اور بے شک تیرا رب تو لوگوں پر فضل کرتا ہے لیکن ان میں سے اکثر شکر نہیں کرتے


74  
وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَيَعْلَمُ مَا تُكِنُّ صُدُورُهُمْ وَمَا يُعْلِنُونَ
Transliteration 74: Wainna rabbaka layaAAlamu ma tukinnu sudooruhum wama yuAAlinoona
Yusuf Ali 74: And verily thy Lord knoweth all that their hearts do hide. As well as all that they reveal.
Mohsin Khan: 74: And verily, your Lord knows what their breasts conceal and what they reveal.
Saheeh: 74: And indeed, your Lord knows what their breasts conceal and what they declare.
Urdu 74: اور بے شک تیرا رب جانتا ہے جو ان کے دلوں میں پوشیدہ ہے اور جو وہ ظاہر کرتے ہیں


75  
وَمَا مِنْ غَائِبَةٍ فِي السَّمَاءِ وَالْأَرْضِ إِلَّا فِي كِتَابٍ مُّبِينٍ
Transliteration 75: Wama min ghaibatin fee alssamai waalardi illa fee kitabin mubeenin
Yusuf Ali 75: Nor is there aught of the unseen, in heaven or earth, but is (recorded) in a clear record.
Mohsin Khan: 75: And there is nothing hidden in the heaven and the earth but it is in a Clear Book (i.e. Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz).
Saheeh: 75: And there is nothing concealed within the heaven and the earth except that it is in a clear Register.
Urdu 75: اور آسمان اور زمین میں ایسی کوئی پوشیدہ بات نہیں جو روشن کتاب میں نہ ہو


76  
إِنَّ هَـٰذَا الْقُرْآنَ يَقُصُّ عَلَىٰ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ أَكْثَرَ الَّذِي هُمْ فِيهِ يَخْتَلِفُونَ
Transliteration 76: Inna hatha alqurana yaqussu AAala banee israeela akthara allathee hum feehi yakhtalifoona
Yusuf Ali 76: Verily this Qur'an doth explain to the Children of Israel most of the matters in which they disagree.
Mohsin Khan: 76: Verily, this Qur'an narrates to the Children of Israel most of that in which they differ.
Saheeh: 76: Indeed, this Qur'an relates to the Children of Israel most of that over which they disagree.
Urdu 76: بے شک یہ قرآن بنی اسرائیل پر اکثر ان باتوں کو ظاہر کرتا ہے جن میں وہ اختلاف کرتے ہیں


77  
وَإِنَّهُ لَهُدًى وَرَحْمَةٌ لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
Transliteration 77: Wainnahu lahudan warahmatun lilmumineena
Yusuf Ali 77: And it certainly is a Guide and a Mercy to those who believe.
Mohsin Khan: 77: And truly, it (this Qur'an) is a guide and a mercy for the believers.
Saheeh: 77: And indeed, it is guidance and mercy for the believers.
Urdu 77: اور بے شک وہ ایمانداروں کے لیے ہدایت اور رحمت ہے


78  
إِنَّ رَبَّكَ يَقْضِي بَيْنَهُم بِحُكْمِهِ ۚ وَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الْعَلِيمُ
Transliteration 78: Inna rabbaka yaqdee baynahum bihukmihi wahuwa alAAazeezu alAAaleemu
Yusuf Ali 78: Verily thy Lord will decide between them by His Decree: and He is Exalted in Might, All-Knowing.
Mohsin Khan: 78: Verily, your Lord will decide between them (various sects) by His Judgement. And He is the All-Mighty, the All-Knowing.
Saheeh: 78: Indeed, your Lord will judge between them by His [wise] judgement. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Knowing.
Urdu 78: بے شک تیرا رب ان کے درمیان اپنے حکم سے فیصلہ کرے گا اور وہ غالب علم والا ہے


79  
فَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى اللَّهِ ۖ إِنَّكَ عَلَى الْحَقِّ الْمُبِينِ
Transliteration 79: Fatawakkal AAala Allahi innaka AAala alhaqqi almubeeni
Yusuf Ali 79: So put thy trust in Allah: for thou art on (the path of) manifest Truth.
Mohsin Khan: 79: So put your trust in Allah; surely, you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) are on manifest truth.
Saheeh: 79: So rely upon Allah; indeed, you are upon the clear truth.
Urdu 79: سو الله پر بھروسہ کر بے شک تو صریح حق پر ہے


80  
إِنَّكَ لَا تُسْمِعُ الْمَوْتَىٰ وَلَا تُسْمِعُ الصُّمَّ الدُّعَاءَ إِذَا وَلَّوْا مُدْبِرِينَ
Transliteration 80: Innaka la tusmiAAu almawta wala tusmiAAu alssumma aldduAAaa itha wallaw mudbireena
Yusuf Ali 80: Truly thou canst not cause the dead to listen, nor canst thou cause the deaf to hear the call, (especially) when they turn back in retreat.
Mohsin Khan: 80: Verily, you cannot make the dead to hear nor can you make the deaf to hear the call (i.e. benefit them and similarly the disbelievers), when they flee, turning their backs.
Saheeh: 80: Indeed, you will not make the dead hear, nor will you make the deaf hear the call when they have turned their backs retreating.
Urdu 80: البتہ تو مردوں کو نہیں سنا سکتا اور نہ بہروں کو اپنی پکارسنا سکتا ہے جب وہ پیٹھ پھیر کر لوٹیں


81  
وَمَا أَنتَ بِهَادِي الْعُمْيِ عَن ضَلَالَتِهِمْ ۖ إِن تُسْمِعُ إِلَّا مَن يُؤْمِنُ بِآيَاتِنَا فَهُم مُّسْلِمُونَ
Transliteration 81: Wama anta bihadee alAAumyi AAan dalalatihim in tusmiAAu illa man yuminu biayatina fahum muslimoona
Yusuf Ali 81: Nor canst thou be a guide to the blind, (to prevent them) from straying: only those wilt thou get to listen who believe in Our Signs, and they will bow in Islam.
Mohsin Khan: 81: Nor can you lead the blind out of their error. You can only make to hear those who believe in Our Ayat (proofs, evidence, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), and who have submitted (themselves to Allah in Islam as Muslims).
Saheeh: 81: And you cannot guide the blind away from their error. You will only make hear those who believe in Our verses so they are Muslims [submitting to Allah].
Urdu 81: اور نہ تو اندھوں کو ان کی گمراہی دور کر کے ہدایت کر سکتا ہے تو ان ہی کو سنا سکتا ہے جو ہماری آیتوں پر ایمان لائیں سو وہی مان بھی لیتے ہیں


82  
 ۞ وَإِذَا وَقَعَ الْقَوْلُ عَلَيْهِمْ أَخْرَجْنَا لَهُمْ دَابَّةً مِّنَ الْأَرْضِ تُكَلِّمُهُمْ أَنَّ النَّاسَ كَانُوا بِآيَاتِنَا لَا يُوقِنُونَ
Transliteration 82: Waitha waqaAAa alqawlu AAalayhim akhrajna lahum dabbatan mina alardi tukallimuhum anna alnnasa kanoo biayatina la yooqinoona
Yusuf Ali 82: And when the Word is fulfilled against them (the unjust), we shall produce from the earth a beast to (face) them: He will speak to them, for that mankind did not believe with assurance in Our Signs.
Mohsin Khan: 82: And when the Word (of torment) is fulfilled against them, We shall bring out from the earth a beast for them, to speak to them because mankind believed not with certainty in Our Ayat (Verses of the Qur'an and Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم).
Saheeh: 82: And when the word befalls them, We will bring forth for them a creature from the earth speaking to them, [saying] that the people were, of Our verses, not certain [in faith].
Urdu 82: اور جب ان پر وعدہ پورا ہوگا تو ہم ان کے لیے زمین سے ایک جانور نکالیں گے جو ان سے باتیں کرے گا کہ لوگ ہماری آیتوں پر یقین نہیں لاتے تھے


83  
وَيَوْمَ نَحْشُرُ مِن كُلِّ أُمَّةٍ فَوْجًا مِّمَّن يُكَذِّبُ بِآيَاتِنَا فَهُمْ يُوزَعُونَ
Transliteration 83: Wayawma nahshuru min kulli ommatin fawjan mimman yukaththibu biayatina fahum yoozaAAoona
Yusuf Ali 83: One day We shall gather together from every people a troop of those who reject our Signs, and they shall be kept in ranks,-
Mohsin Khan: 83: And (remember) the Day when We shall gather out of every nation a troop of those who denied Our Ayat (proofs, evidence, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), and (then) they (all) shall be driven (to the place of reckoning),
Saheeh: 83: And [warn of] the Day when We will gather from every nation a company of those who deny Our signs, and they will be [driven] in rows
Urdu 83: اورجس دن ہم ہر امت میں سے ایک گروہ ان لوگوں کا جمع کریں گے جو ہماری آیتوں کو جھٹلاتے تھے پھر ان کی جماعت بندی ہو گی


84  
حَتَّىٰ إِذَا جَاءُوا قَالَ أَكَذَّبْتُم بِآيَاتِي وَلَمْ تُحِيطُوا بِهَا عِلْمًا أَمَّاذَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
Transliteration 84: Hatta itha jaoo qala akaththabtum biayatee walam tuheetoo biha AAilman ammatha kuntum taAAmaloona
Yusuf Ali 84: Until, when they come (before the Judgment-seat), (Allah) will say: "Did ye reject My Signs, though ye comprehended them not in knowledge, or what was it ye did?"
Mohsin Khan: 84: Till, when they come (before their Lord at the place of reckoning), He will say: "Did you deny My Ayat (proofs, evidence, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) whereas you comprehended them not by knowledge (of their truth or falsehood), or what (else) was it that you used to do?"
Saheeh: 84: Until, when they arrive [at the place of Judgement], He will say, "Did you deny My signs while you encompassed them not in knowledge, or what [was it that] you were doing?"
Urdu 84: یہاں تک کہ جب سب حاضر ہوں گے کہے گا کیا تم نے میری آیتوں کو جھٹلایا تھا حالانکہ تم انہیں سمجھے بھی نہ تھے یا کیا کرتے رہے ہو


85  
وَوَقَعَ الْقَوْلُ عَلَيْهِم بِمَا ظَلَمُوا فَهُمْ لَا يَنطِقُونَ
Transliteration 85: WawaqaAAa alqawlu AAalayhim bima thalamoo fahum la yantiqoona
Yusuf Ali 85: And the Word will be fulfilled against them, because of their wrong-doing, and they will be unable to speak (in plea).
Mohsin Khan: 85: And the Word (of torment) will be fulfilled against them, because they have done wrong, and they will be unable to speak (in order to defend themselves).
Saheeh: 85: And the decree will befall them for the wrong they did, and they will not [be able to] speak.
Urdu 85: اور ان کے ظلم سے ان پر الزام قائم ہو جائے گا پھر وہ بول بھی نہ سکیں گے


86  
أَلَمْ يَرَوْا أَنَّا جَعَلْنَا اللَّيْلَ لِيَسْكُنُوا فِيهِ وَالنَّهَارَ مُبْصِرًا ۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَ‌ٰلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يُؤْمِنُونَ
Transliteration 86: Alam yaraw anna jaAAalna allayla liyaskunoo feehi waalnnahara mubsiran inna fee thalika laayatin liqawmin yuminoona
Yusuf Ali 86: See they not that We have made the Night for them to rest in and the Day to give them light? Verily in this are Signs for any people that believe!
Mohsin Khan: 86: See they not that We have made the night for them to rest therein, and the day sight-giving? Verily, in this are Ayat (proofs, evidence, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) for the people who believe.
Saheeh: 86: Do they not see that We made the night that they may rest therein and the day giving sight? Indeed in that are signs for a people who believe.
Urdu 86: کیا نہیں دیکھتے کہ ہم نے رات بنائی تاکہ اس میں چین حاصل کریں اور دیکھنے کو دن بنایا البتہ اس میں ان لوگوں کے لیے نشانیاں ہیں جو ایمان لاتے ہیں


87  
وَيَوْمَ يُنفَخُ فِي الصُّورِ فَفَزِعَ مَن فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَن فِي الْأَرْضِ إِلَّا مَن شَاءَ اللَّهُ ۚ وَكُلٌّ أَتَوْهُ دَاخِرِينَ
Transliteration 87: Wayawma yunfakhu fee alssoori fafaziAAa man fee alssamawati waman fee alardi illa man shaa Allahu wakullun atawhu dakhireena
Yusuf Ali 87: And the Day that the Trumpet will be sounded - then will be smitten with terror those who are in the heavens, and those who are on earth, except such as Allah will please (to exempt): and all shall come to His (Presence) as beings conscious of their lowliness.
Mohsin Khan: 87: And (remember) the Day on which the Trumpet will be blown - and all who are in the heavens and all who are on the earth, will be terrified except him whom Allah will (exempt). And all shall come to Him, humbled.
Saheeh: 87: And [warn of] the Day the Horn will be blown, and whoever is in the heavens and whoever is on the earth will be terrified except whom Allah wills. And all will come to Him humbled.
Urdu 87: اور جس دن صور پھونکا جائے گا تو جوکوئی آسمان میں ہے اور جو کوئی زمین میں ہے سب ہی گھبرائیں گے مگر جسے الله چاہے اور سب اس کے پاس عاجز ہو کر چلے آئیں گے


88  
وَتَرَى الْجِبَالَ تَحْسَبُهَا جَامِدَةً وَهِيَ تَمُرُّ مَرَّ السَّحَابِ ۚ صُنْعَ اللَّهِ الَّذِي أَتْقَنَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ ۚ إِنَّهُ خَبِيرٌ بِمَا تَفْعَلُونَ
Transliteration 88: Watara aljibala tahsabuha jamidatan wahiya tamurru marra alssahabi sunAAa Allahi allathee atqana kulla shayin innahu khabeerun bima tafAAaloona
Yusuf Ali 88: Thou seest the mountains and thinkest them firmly fixed: but they shall pass away as the clouds pass away: (such is) the artistry of Allah, who disposes of all things in perfect order: for he is well acquainted with all that ye do.
Mohsin Khan: 88: And you will see the mountains and think them solid, but they shall pass away as the passing away of the clouds. The Work of Allah, Who perfected all things, verily He is Well-Acquainted with what you do.
Saheeh: 88: And you see the mountains, thinking them rigid, while they will pass as the passing of clouds. [It is] the work of Allah, who perfected all things. Indeed, He is Acquainted with that which you do.
Urdu 88: اور تو جو پہاڑوں کو جمے ہوئے دیکھ رہا ہے یہ تو بادلوں کی طرح اڑتے پھریں گے اس الله کی کاریگری سے جس نے ہر چیز کو مضبوط بنا رکھا ہے اسے خبر ہے جو تم کرتے ہو


89  
مَن جَاءَ بِالْحَسَنَةِ فَلَهُ خَيْرٌ مِّنْهَا وَهُم مِّن فَزَعٍ يَوْمَئِذٍ آمِنُونَ
Transliteration 89: Man jaa bialhasanati falahu khayrun minha wahum min fazaAAin yawmaithin aminoona
Yusuf Ali 89: If any do good, good will (accrue) to them therefrom; and they will be secure from terror that Day.
Mohsin Khan: 89: Whoever brings a good deed (i.e. Belief in the Oneness of Allah along with every deed of righteousness), will have better than its worth; and they will be safe from the terror on that Day.
Saheeh: 89: Whoever comes [at Judgement] with a good deed will have better than it, and they, from the terror of that Day, will be safe.
Urdu 89: جو نیکی لائے گا سواسے اس سے بہتر بدلہ ملے گا اور وہ اس دن کی گھبراہٹ سے بھی امن میں ہوں گے


90  
وَمَن جَاءَ بِالسَّيِّئَةِ فَكُبَّتْ وُجُوهُهُمْ فِي النَّارِ هَلْ تُجْزَوْنَ إِلَّا مَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
Transliteration 90: Waman jaa bialssayyiati fakubbat wujoohuhum fee alnnari hal tujzawna illa ma kuntum taAAmaloona
Yusuf Ali 90: And if any do evil, their faces will be thrown headlong into the Fire: "Do ye receive a reward other than that which ye have earned by your deeds?"
Mohsin Khan: 90: And whoever brings an evil deed (i.e. Shirk - polytheism, disbelief in the Oneness of Allah and every evil sinful deed), they will be cast down (prone) on their faces in the Fire. (And it will be said to them) "Are you being recompensed anything except what you used to do?"
Saheeh: 90: And whoever comes with an evil deed - their faces will be overturned into the Fire, [and it will be said], "Are you recompensed except for what you used to do?"
Urdu 90: اور جو برائی لائے گا سو ان کے منہ آگ میں اوندھے ڈالے جائیں گے تمہیں وہی بدلہ مل رہا ہے جو تم کرتے تھے


91  
إِنَّمَا أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَعْبُدَ رَبَّ هَـٰذِهِ الْبَلْدَةِ الَّذِي حَرَّمَهَا وَلَهُ كُلُّ شَيْءٍ ۖ وَأُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَكُونَ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ
Transliteration 91: Innama omirtu an aAAbuda rabba hathihi albaldati allathee harramaha walahu kullu shayin waomirtu an akoona mina almuslimeena
Yusuf Ali 91: For me, I have been commanded to serve the Lord of this city, Him Who has sanctified it and to Whom (belong) all things: and I am commanded to be of those who bow in Islam to Allah's Will,-
Mohsin Khan: 91: I (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) have been commanded only to worship the Lord of this city (Makkah), Who has sanctified it and to Whom belongs everything. And I am commanded to be from among the Muslims (those who submit to Allah in Islam).
Saheeh: 91: [Say, O Muhammad], "I have only been commanded to worship the Lord of this city, who made it sacred and to whom [belongs] all things. And I am commanded to be of the Muslims [those who submit to Allah]
Urdu 91: مجھے تو یہی حکم دیا گیا ہے کہ اس شہر کے مالک کی بندگی کروں جس نے اسے عزت دی ہے اور ہر ایک چیز اسی کی ہے اور مجھے حکم دیا گیا ہے کہ میں فرمانبرداروں میں رہوں

وَأَنْ أَتْلُوَ الْقُرْآنَ ۖ فَمَنِ اهْتَدَىٰ فَإِنَّمَا يَهْتَدِي لِنَفْسِهِ ۖ وَمَن ضَلَّ فَقُلْ إِنَّمَا أَنَا مِنَ الْمُنذِرِينَ
Transliteration 92: Waan atluwa alqurana famani ihtada fainnama yahtadee linafsihi waman dalla faqul innama ana mina almunthireena
Yusuf Ali 92: And to rehearse the Qur'an: and if any accept guidance, they do it for the good of their own souls, and if any stray, say: "I am only a Warner".
Mohsin Khan: 92: And that I should recite the Qur'an, then whosoever receives guidance, receives it for the good of his ownself; and whosoever goes astray, say (to him): "I am only one of the warners."
Saheeh: 92: And to recite the Qur'an." And whoever is guided is only guided for [the benefit of] himself; and whoever strays - say, "I am only [one] of the warners."
Urdu 92: اور یہ بھی کہ قرآن سنا دوں پھر جو کوئی راہ پر آ گیا تو وہ اپنے بھلے کو راہ پر آتا ہے اور جو گمراہ ہوا تو کہہ دو میں تو صرف ڈرانے والوں میں سے ہوں


93  
وَقُلِ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ سَيُرِيكُمْ آيَاتِهِ فَتَعْرِفُونَهَا ۚ وَمَا رَبُّكَ بِغَافِلٍ عَمَّا تَعْمَلُونَ
Transliteration 93: Waquli alhamdu lillahi sayureekum ayatihi fataAArifoonaha wama rabbuka bighafilin AAamma taAAmaloona
Yusuf Ali 93: And say: "Praise be to Allah, Who will soon show you His Signs, so that ye shall know them"; and thy Lord is not unmindful of all that ye do.
Mohsin Khan: 93: And say [(O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) to these polytheists and pagans.]: "All the praises and thanks be to Allah. He will show you His Ayat (signs, in yourselves, and in the universe or punishments), and you shall recognise them. And your Lord is not unaware of what you do."
Saheeh: 93: And say, "[All] praise is [due] to Allah. He will show you His signs, and you will recognize them. And your Lord is not unaware of what you do."
Urdu 93: اور کہہ دو سب تعریف الله کے لیے ہےتمہیں عنقریب اپنی نشانیاں دکھا دے گا پھرانہیں پہچان لو گے اور تیرا رب اس سے بے خبر نہیں جو تم کرتے ہو
