80. | أَمْ يَحْسَبُونَ أَنَّا لَا نَسْمَعُ سِرَّهُمْ وَنَجْوَاهُم ۚ بَلَىٰ وَرُسُلُنَا لَدَيْهِمْ يَكْتُبُونَ |
Transliteration: | Am yahsaboona anna la nasmaAAu sirrahum wanajwahum bala warusuluna ladayhim yaktuboona |
Yusuf Ali: | Or do they think that We hear not their secrets and their private counsels? Indeed (We do), and Our messengers are by them, to record. |
Shakir: | Or do they think that We do not hear what they conceal and their secret discourses? Aye! and Our apostles with them write down. |

81. | قُلْ إِن كَانَ لِلرَّحْمَـٰنِ وَلَدٌ فَأَنَا أَوَّلُ الْعَابِدِينَ |
Transliteration: | Qul in kana lilrrahmani waladun faana awwalu alAAabideena |
Yusuf Ali: | Say: "If (Allah) Most Gracious had a son, I would be the first to worship." |
Shakir: | Say: If the Beneficent Allah has a son, I am the foremost of those who serve. |

82. | سُبْحَانَ رَبِّ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ رَبِّ الْعَرْشِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ |
Transliteration: | Subhana rabbi alssamawati waalardi rabbi alAAarshi AAamma yasifoona |
Yusuf Ali: | Glory to the Lord of the heavens and the earth, the Lord of the Throne (of Authority)! (He is free) from the things they attribute (to him)! |
Shakir: | Glory to the Lord of the heavens and the earth, the Lord of power, from what they describe. |

83. | فَذَرْهُمْ يَخُوضُوا وَيَلْعَبُوا حَتَّىٰ يُلَاقُوا يَوْمَهُمُ الَّذِي يُوعَدُونَ |
Transliteration: | Fatharhum yakhoodoo wayalAAaboo hatta yulaqoo yawmahumu allathee yooAAadoona |
Yusuf Ali: | So leave them to babble and play (with vanities) until they meet that Day of theirs, which they have been promised. |
Shakir: | So leave them plunging into false discourses and sporting until they meet their day which they are threatened with. |

84. | وَهُوَ الَّذِي فِي السَّمَاءِ إِلَـٰهٌ وَفِي الْأَرْضِ إِلَـٰهٌ ۚ وَهُوَ الْحَكِيمُ الْعَلِيمُ |
Transliteration: | Wahuwa allathee fee alssamai ilahun wafee alardi ilahun wahuwa alhakeemu alAAaleemu |
Yusuf Ali: | It is He Who is Allah in heaven and Allah on earth; and He is full of Wisdom and Knowledge. |
Shakir: | And He it is Who is Allah in the heavens and Allah in the earth; and He is the Wise, the Knowing. |
