| 12. | وَمَرْيَمَ ابْنَتَ عِمْرَانَ الَّتِي أَحْصَنَتْ فَرْجَهَا فَنَفَخْنَا فِيهِ مِن رُّوحِنَا وَصَدَّقَتْ بِكَلِمَاتِ رَبِّهَا وَكُتُبِهِ وَكَانَتْ مِنَ الْقَانِتِينَ |
| Transliteration: | Wamaryama ibnata AAimrana allatee ahsanat farjaha fanafakhna feehi min roohina wasaddaqat bikalimati rabbiha wakutubihi wakanat mina alqaniteena |
| Yusuf Ali: | And Mary the daughter of 'Imran, who guarded her chastity; and We breathed into (her body) of Our spirit; and she testified to the truth of the words of her Lord and of His Revelations, and was one of the devout (servants). |
| Shakir: | And Marium, the daughter of Imran, who guarded her chastity, so We breathed into her of Our inspiration and she accepted the truth of the words of her Lord and His books, and she was of, the obedient ones. |

| Indonesian: | dan Maryam puteri 'Imran yang memelihara kehormatannya, maka Kami tiupkan ke dalam rahimnya sebagian dari roh (ciptaan) Kami; dan dia membenarkan kalimat-kalimat Tuhannya dan Kitab-kitab-Nya; dan adalah dia termasuk orang-orang yang ta'at.

| Malay:: | Dan juga (satu misal perbandingan lagi, iaitu): Mariam binti Imran (ibu Nabi Isa seorang perempuan) yang telah memelihara kehormatan dan kesuciannya (dari disentuh oleh lelaki; tetapi oleh sebab Kami telah takdirkan dia mendapat anak) maka Kami perintahkan Jibril meniup masuk ke dalam kandungan tubuhnya dari roh (ciptaan) Kami dan (sekalipun Mariam itu hidup di antara kaum kafir) dia mengakui kebenaran Kalimah-kalimah Tuhannya serta Kitab-kitabNya dan dia menjadi dari orang-orang yang tetap taat.

| German: | Und (auch von) Maryam, 'Imrans Tochter, die ihre Scham unter Schutz stellte, worauf Wir in sie von Unserem Geist einhauchten. Und sie hielt die Worte ihres Herrn und Seine Bücher für wahr und gehörte zu den (Allah) demütig Ergebenen. |
| Russian: | А также Марьям (Марию), дочь Имрана, которая сберегла целомудрие, и Мы вдохнули в него (в вырез на ее одежде) от Нашего духа. Она уверовала в Слова своего Господа и Его Писания и была одной из покорных. |
