| 28. | يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِنَّمَا الْمُشْرِكُونَ نَجَسٌ فَلَا يَقْرَبُوا الْمَسْجِدَ الْحَرَامَ بَعْدَ عَامِهِمْ هَـٰذَا ۚ وَإِنْ خِفْتُمْ عَيْلَةً فَسَوْفَ يُغْنِيكُمُ اللَّهُ مِن فَضْلِهِ إِن شَاءَ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌ |
| Transliteration: | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo innama almushrikoona najasun fala yaqraboo almasjida alharama baAAda AAamihim hatha wain khiftum AAaylatan fasawfa yughneekumu Allahu min fadlihi in shaa inna Allaha AAaleemun hakeemun |
| Yusuf Ali: | O ye who believe! Truly the Pagans are unclean; so let them not, after this year of theirs, approach the Sacred Mosque. And if ye fear poverty, soon will Allah enrich you, if He wills, out of His bounty, for Allah is All-knowing, All-wise. |
| Shakir: | O you who believe! the idolaters are nothing but unclean, so they shall not approach the Sacred Mosque after this year; and if you fear poverty then Allah will enrich you out of His grace if He please; surely Allah is Knowing Wise. |
| Pickthall: | O ye who believe! The idolaters only are unclean. So let them not come near the Inviolable Place of Worship after this their year. If ye fear poverty (from the loss of their merchandise) Allah shall preserve you of His bounty if He will. Lo! Allah is Knower, Wise. |
| Mohsin Khan: | O you who believe (in Allah's Oneness and in His Messenger Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم)! Verily, the Mushrikun (polytheists, pagans, idolaters, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah, and in the Message of Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) are Najasun (impure). So let them not come near Al-Masjidal-Haram (at Makkah) after this year; and if you fear poverty, Allah will enrich you if He wills, out of His Bounty. Surely, Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise. |
| French: | O vous qui croyez! Les associateurs ne sont qu'impureté: qu'ils ne s'approchent plus de la Mosquée sacrée, après cette année-ci. Et si vous redoutez une pénurie, Allah vous enrichira, s'Il veut, de par Sa grâce. Car Allah est Omniscient et Sage. |
| Spanish: | ¡Creyentes! Los asociadores son mera impureza. ¡Que no se acerquen, pues, a la Mezquita Sagrada después de este su año! Si teméis escasez, Alá os enriquecerá por favor Suyo, si quiere. Alá es omnisciente, sabio. |
| Indonesian: | Hai orang-orang yang beriman, sesungguhnya orang-orang yang musyrik itu najis , maka janganlah mereka mendekati Masjidil Haram sesudah tahun ini . Dan jika kamu khawatir menjadi miskin , maka Allah nanti akan memberikan kekayaan kepadamu dari karunia-Nya, jika Dia menghendaki. Sesungguhnya Allah Maha Mengetahui lagi Maha Bijaksana.

Sesungguhnya (kepercayaan) orang-orang kafir musyrik itu najis, oleh itu janganlah mereka menghampiri Masjidilharam sesudah tahun ini dan jika kamu bimbangkan kepapaan, maka Allah akan memberi kekayaan kepada kamu dari limpah kurniaNya, jika Dia kehendaki. Sesungguhnya Allah Maha Mengetahui, lagi Maha Bijaksana.

| German: | O die ihr glaubt, die Götzendiener sind fürwahr unrein, so sollen sie sich der geschützten Gebetsstätte nach diesem, ihrem Jahr nicht mehr nähern! Und wenn ihr (deshalb) Armut befürchtet, so wird Allah euch durch Seine Huld reich machen, wenn Er will. Gewiß, Allah ist Allwissend und Allweise. |
| Russian: | О те, которые уверовали! Воистину, многобожники являются нечистыми. И пусть они после этого их года не приближаются к Заповедной мечети. Если же вы боитесь бедности, то Аллах обеспечит вас богатством из Своей милости, если пожелает. Воистину, Аллах - Знающий, Мудрый. |
| Bosnian: | O vjernici, mnogobošci su sama pogan, i neka više ne dolaze na hadž Svetome hramu poslije ovogodišnjeg hadža. A ako se bojite oskudice, pa Allah će vas, ako hoće, iz obilja Svoga imućnim učiniti. – Allah zaista sve zna i mudar je. |
| Urdu: | اے ایمان والو! مشرک تو پلید ہیں سو اس برس کے بعد مسجد حرام کے نزدیک نہ آنے پائیں اور اگر تم تنگدستی سے ڈرتے ہو تو آئندہ اگر الله چاہے تمہیں اپنے فضل سے غنسی کر دے گا بے شک الله جاننے والا حکمت والا ہے |
