| 5. | فَإِذَا انسَلَخَ الْأَشْهُرُ الْحُرُمُ فَاقْتُلُوا الْمُشْرِكِينَ حَيْثُ وَجَدتُّمُوهُمْ وَخُذُوهُمْ وَاحْصُرُوهُمْ وَاقْعُدُوا لَهُمْ كُلَّ مَرْصَدٍ ۚ فَإِن تَابُوا وَأَقَامُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَآتَوُا الزَّكَاةَ فَخَلُّوا سَبِيلَهُمْ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ |
| Transliteration: | Faitha insalakha alashhuru alhurumu faoqtuloo almushrikeena haythu wajadtumoohum wakhuthoohum waohsuroohum waoqAAudoo lahum kulla marsadin fain taboo waaqamoo alssalata waatawoo alzzakata fakhalloo sabeelahum inna Allaha ghafoorun raheemun |
| Yusuf Ali: | But when the forbidden months are past, then fight and slay the Pagans wherever ye find them, an seize them, beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them in every stratagem (of war); but if they repent, and establish regular prayers and practise regular charity, then open the way for them: for Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful. |
| Shakir: | So when the sacred months have passed away, then slay the idolaters wherever you find them, and take them captives and besiege them and lie in wait for them in every ambush, then if they repent and keep up prayer and pay the poor-rate, leave their way free to them; surely Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. |

Pero si se arrepienten, hacen la azalá y dan el azaque, entonces ¡dejadles en paz! Alá es indulgente, misericordioso. |
| Indonesian: | Apabila sudah habis bulan-bulan Haram itu , maka bunuhlah orang-orang musyrikin itu di mana saja kamu jumpai mereka, dan tangkaplah mereka. Kepunglah mereka dan intailah di tempat pengintaian. Jika mereka bertaubat dan mendirikan shalat dan menunaikan zakat, maka berilah kebebasan kepada mereka untuk berjalan Sesungguhnya Allah Maha Pengampun lagi Maha Penyayang.

| Malay:: | Kemudian apabila habislah (masa) bulan-bulan yang dihormati itu maka bunuhlah orang-orang musyrik itu di mana sahaja kamu menemuinya dan tawanlah mereka, dan juga keponglah mereka, serta tunggulah mereka di tiap-tiap tempat mengintipnya. Kemudian jika mereka bertaubat (dari kekufurannya) dan mendirikan sembahyang serta memberi zakat, maka biarkanlah mereka (jangan diganggu). Sesungguhnya Allah Maha Pengampun, lagi Maha Mengasihani.

| Russian: | Когда же завершатся запретные месяцы, то убивайте многобожников, где бы вы их ни обнаружили, берите их в плен, осаждайте их и устраивайте для них любую засаду. Если же они раскаются и станут совершать намаз и выплачивать закят, то отпустите их, ибо Аллах - Прощающий, Милосердный. |
| Bosnian: | Kada prođu sveti mjeseci, ubijajte mnogobošce gdje god ih nađete, zarobljavajte ih, opsjedajte i na svakome prolazu dočekujte! Pa ako se pokaju i budu molitvu obavljali i zekat davali, ostavite ih na miru, jer Allah zaista prašta i samilostan je. |
