| 29. | يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تَأْكُلُوا أَمْوَالَكُم بَيْنَكُم بِالْبَاطِلِ إِلَّا أَن تَكُونَ تِجَارَةً عَن تَرَاضٍ مِّنكُمْ ۚ وَلَا تَقْتُلُوا أَنفُسَكُمْ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ بِكُمْ رَحِيمًا |
| Transliteration: | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo la takuloo amwalakum baynakum bialbatili illa an takoona tijaratan AAan taradin minkum wala taqtuloo anfusakum inna Allaha kana bikum raheeman |
| Yusuf Ali: | O ye who believe! Eat not up your property among yourselves in vanities: But let there be amongst you Traffic and trade by mutual good-will: Nor kill (or destroy) yourselves: for verily Allah hath been to you Most Merciful! |
| Shakir: | O you who believe! do not devour your property among yourselves falsely, except that it be trading by your mutual consent; and do not kill your people; surely Allah is Merciful to you. |
| Pickthall: | O ye who believe! Squander not your wealth among yourselves in vanity, except it be a trade by mutual consent, and kill not one another. Lo! Allah is ever Merciful unto you. |
| Mohsin Khan: | O you who believe! Eat not up your property among yourselves unjustly except it be a trade amongst you, by mutual consent. And do not kill yourselves (nor kill one another). Surely, Allah is Most Merciful to you. |
| Saheeh: | O you who have believed, do not consume one another's wealth unjustly but only [in lawful] business by mutual consent. And do not kill yourselves [or one another]. Indeed, Allah is to you ever Merciful. |
| Urdu: | اے ایمان والو! آپس میں ایک دوسرے کے مال نا حق نہ کھاؤ مگر یہ کہ آپس کی خوشی سے تجارت ہو اور آپس میں کسی کو قتل نہ کرو بے شک اللہ تم پر مہربان ہے |

| 30. | وَمَن يَفْعَلْ ذَٰلِكَ عُدْوَانًا وَظُلْمًا فَسَوْفَ نُصْلِيهِ نَارًا ۚ وَكَانَ ذَٰلِكَ عَلَى اللَّهِ يَسِيرًا |
| Transliteration: | Waman yafAAal thalika AAudwanan wathulman fasawfa nusleehi naran wakana thalika AAala Allahi yaseeran |
| Yusuf Ali: | If any do that in rancour and injustice,- soon shall We cast them into the Fire: And easy it is for Allah. |
| Shakir: | And whoever does this aggressively and unjustly, We will soon cast him into fire; and this is easy to Allah. |
| Pickthall: | Whoso doeth that through aggression and injustice, we shall cast him into Fire, and that is ever easy for Allah. |
| Mohsin Khan: | And whoever commits that through aggression and injustice, We shall cast him into the Fire, and that is easy for Allah. |
| Saheeh: | And whoever does that in aggression and injustice - then We will drive him into a Fire. And that, for Allah, is [always] easy. |
| Urdu: | اور جو شخص تعدّی اور ظلم سے یہ کام کرے گا تو ہم اسے آگ میں ڈالیں گے اور یہ اللہ پر آسان ہے |
