| 45. | إِنَّمَا يَسْتَأْذِنُكَ الَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ وَارْتَابَتْ قُلُوبُهُمْ فَهُمْ فِي رَيْبِهِمْ يَتَرَدَّدُونَ |
| Transliteration: | Innama yastathinuka allatheena la yuminoona biAllahi waalyawmi alakhiri wairtabat quloobuhum fahum fee raybihim yataraddadoona |
| Yusuf Ali: | Only those ask thee for exemption who believe not in Allah and the Last Day, and whose hearts are in doubt, so that they are tossed in their doubts to and fro. |
| Shakir: | They only ask leave of you who do not believe in Allah and the latter day and their hearts are in doubt, so in their doubt do they waver. |
| Pickthall: | They alone ask leave of thee who believe not in Allah and the Last Day, and whose hearts feel doubt, so in their doubt they waver. |
| Mohsin Khan: | It is only those who believe not in Allah and the Last Day and whose hearts are in doubt that ask your leave (to be exempted from Jihad). So in their doubts they waver. |
| Saheeh: | Only those would ask permission of you who do not believe in Allah and the Last Day and whose hearts have doubted, and they, in their doubt, are hesitating. |
| Urdu: | تم سے رخصت وہی مانگتے ہیں جو الله پر اور آخرت کے دن پر ایمان نہیں رکھتے اور ان کے دل شک میں پڑے ہوئے ہیں سو وہ اپنے شک میں بھٹک رہے ہیں |
