| 58. | وَمِنْهُم مَّن يَلْمِزُكَ فِي الصَّدَقَاتِ فَإِنْ أُعْطُوا مِنْهَا رَضُوا وَإِن لَّمْ يُعْطَوْا مِنْهَا إِذَا هُمْ يَسْخَطُونَ |
| Transliteration: | Waminhum man yalmizuka fee alssadaqati fain oAAtoo minha radoo wain lam yuAAtaw minha itha hum yaskhatoona |
| Yusuf Ali: | And among them are men who slander thee in the matter of (the distribution of) the alms: if they are given part thereof, they are pleased, but if not, behold! they are indignant! |
| Shakir: | And of them there are those who blame you with respect to the alms; so if they are given from it they are pleased, and if they are not given from it, lo! they are full of rage. |
| Pickthall: | And of them is he who defameth thee in the matter of the alms. If they are given thereof they are content, and if they are not given thereof, behold! they are enraged. |
| Mohsin Khan: | And of them are some who accuse you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) in the matter of (the distribution of) the alms. If they are given part thereof, they are pleased, but if they are not given thereof, behold! They are enraged! |
| Saheeh: | And among them are some who criticize you concerning the [distribution of] charities. If they are given from them, they approve; but if they are not given from them, at once they become angry. |
| Urdu: | اور بعضے ان میں سے وہ ہیں جو خیرات مانگتے ہیں تجھے طعن دیتے ہیں سو اگر انہیں اس میں سے مل جائے تو راضی ہوتے ہیں اور اگر نہ ملے تو فوراً ناراض ہو جاتے ہیں |
