| 40. | فَأَخَذْنَاهُ وَجُنُودَهُ فَنَبَذْنَاهُمْ فِي الْيَمِّ ۖ فَانظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الظَّالِمِينَ |
| Transliteration: | Faakhathnahu wajunoodahu fanabathnahum fee alyammi faonthur kayfa kana AAaqibatu alththalimeena |
| Yusuf Ali: | So We seized him and his hosts, and We flung them into the sea: Now behold what was the end of those who did wrong! |
| Shakir: | So We caught hold of him and his hosts, then We cast them into the sea, and see how was the end of the unjust. |
| Pickthall: | Therefor We seized him and his hosts, and abandoned them unto the sea. Behold the nature of the consequence for evil-doers! |
| Mohsin Khan: | So We seized him and his hosts, and We threw them all into the sea (and drowned them). So behold (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) what was the end of the Zalimun [wrong-doers, polytheists and those who disbelieved in the Oneness of their Lord (Allah), or rejected the advice of His Messenger Musa (Moses) عليه السلام]. |
| Saheeh: | So We took him and his soldiers and threw them into the sea. So see how was the end of the wrongdoers. |
| Urdu: | پھر ہم نے اسے اور اس کے لشکروں کو پکڑ لیا پھر انہیں دریا میں پھینک دیا سو دیکھ لو ظالموں کا کیا انجام ہوا |
