| 20. | وَلَقَدْ صَدَّقَ عَلَيْهِمْ إِبْلِيسُ ظَنَّهُ فَاتَّبَعُوهُ إِلَّا فَرِيقًا مِّنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ |
| Transliteration: | Walaqad saddaqa AAalayhim ibleesu thannahu faittabaAAoohu illa fareeqan mina almumineena |
| Yusuf Ali: | And on them did Satan prove true his idea, and they followed him, all but a party that believed. |
| Shakir: | And certainly the Shaitan found true his conjecture concerning them, so they follow him, except a party of the believers. |
| Pickthall: | And Satan indeed found his calculation true concerning them, for they follow him, all save a group of true believers. |
| Mohsin Khan: | And indeed Iblis (Satan) did prove true his thought about them: and they followed him, all except a group of true believers (in the Oneness of Allah). |
| Saheeh: | And Iblees had already confirmed through them his assumption, so they followed him, except for a party of believers. |
| Urdu: | اور البتہ شیطان نے ان پر اپنا گمان سچ کر دکھایا سوائے ایمان داروں کے ایک گروہ کے سب اس کے تابع ہو گئے |
