| 45. | نَّحْنُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا يَقُولُونَ ۖ وَمَا أَنتَ عَلَيْهِم بِجَبَّارٍ ۖ فَذَكِّرْ بِالْقُرْآنِ مَن يَخَافُ وَعِيدِ |
| Transliteration: | Nahnu aAAlamu bima yaqooloona wama anta AAalayhim bijabbarin fathakkir bialqurani man yakhafu waAAeedi |
| Yusuf Ali: | We know best what they say; and thou art not one to overawe them by force. So admonish with the Qur'an such as fear My Warning! |
| Shakir: | We know best what they say, and you are not one to compel them; therefore remind him by means of the Quran who fears My threat. |
| Pickthall: | We are Best Aware of what they say, and thou (O Muhammad) art in no wise a compeller over them. But warn by the Qur'an him who feareth My threat. |
| Mohsin Khan: | We know best what they say. And you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) are not the one to force them (to Belief). But warn by the Qur'an; him who fears My Threat. |
| Saheeh: | We are most knowing of what they say, and you are not over them a tyrant. But remind by the Qur'an whoever fears My threat. |
| Urdu: | ہم جانتے ہیں جو کچھ وہ کہتے ہیں اور آپ ا ن پر کچھ زبردستی کرنے والے نہیں پھر آپ قرآن سے اس کو نصیحت کیجیئے جو میرے عذاب سے ڈرتا ہو |
