| 4. | فَوَيْلٌ لِّلْمُصَلِّينَ |
| Transliteration: | Fawaylun lilmusalleena |
| Yusuf Ali: | So woe to the worshippers |
| Shakir: | So woe to the praying ones, |
| Pickthall: | Ah, woe unto worshippers |
| Mohsin Khan: | So woe unto those performers of Salat (prayers) (hypocrites), |
| Saheeh: | So woe to those who pray |
| Urdu: | پس ان نمازیوں کے لیے ہلاکت ہے |

| 5. | الَّذِينَ هُمْ عَن صَلَاتِهِمْ سَاهُونَ |
| Transliteration: | Allatheena hum AAan salatihim sahoona |
| Yusuf Ali: | Who are neglectful of their prayers, |
| Shakir: | Who are unmindful of their prayers, |
| Pickthall: | Who are heedless of their prayer; |
| Mohsin Khan: | Those who delay their Salat (prayer from their stated fixed times). |
| Saheeh: | [But] who are heedless of their prayer - |
| Urdu: | جو اپنی نماز سے غافل ہیں |

| 6. | الَّذِينَ هُمْ يُرَاءُونَ |
| Transliteration: | Allatheena hum yuraoona |
| Yusuf Ali: | Those who (want but) to be seen (of men), |
| Shakir: | Who do (good) to be seen, |
| Pickthall: | Who would be seen (at worship) |
| Mohsin Khan: | Those who do good deeds only to be seen (of men), |
| Saheeh: | Those who make show [of their deeds] |
| Urdu: | جو دکھلاوا کرتے ہیں |
