Bismi Allahi alrrahmani alrraheemi
168.وَقَطَّعْنَاهُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ أُمَمًا ۖ مِّنْهُمُ الصَّالِحُونَ وَمِنْهُمْ دُونَ ذَ‌ٰلِكَ ۖ وَبَلَوْنَاهُم بِالْحَسَنَاتِ وَالسَّيِّئَاتِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْجِعُونَ
Transliteration:WaqattaAAnahum fee alardi omaman minhumu alssalihoona waminhum doona thalika wabalawnahum bialhasanati waalssayyiati laAAallahum yarjiAAoona
Yusuf Ali:We broke them up into sections on this earth. There are among them some that are the righteous, and some that are the opposite. We have tried them with both prosperity and adversity: In order that they might turn (to us).
Urdu:اورہم نے انہیں ملک میں مختلف جماعتوں میں متفرق کر دیا بعضے ان میں سے نیک ہیں اور بعضے اور طرح کے اور ہم نے انہیں بھلائیوں اور برائیوں سے آزمایاتاکہ وہ لوٹ آئيں
