Bismi Allahi alrrahmani alrraheemi
187.يَسْأَلُونَكَ عَنِ السَّاعَةِ أَيَّانَ مُرْسَاهَا ۖ قُلْ إِنَّمَا عِلْمُهَا عِندَ رَبِّي ۖ لَا يُجَلِّيهَا لِوَقْتِهَا إِلَّا هُوَ ۚ ثَقُلَتْ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۚ لَا تَأْتِيكُمْ إِلَّا بَغْتَةً ۗ يَسْأَلُونَكَ كَأَنَّكَ حَفِيٌّ عَنْهَا ۖ قُلْ إِنَّمَا عِلْمُهَا عِندَ اللَّهِ وَلَـٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
Transliteration:Yasaloonaka AAani alssaAAati ayyana mursaha qul innama AAilmuha AAinda rabbee la yujalleeha liwaqtiha illa huwa thaqulat fee alssamawati waalardi la tateekum illa baghtatan yasaloonaka kaannaka hafiyyun AAanha qul innama AAilmuha AAinda Allahi walakinna akthara alnnasi la yaAAlamoona
Yusuf Ali:They ask thee about the (final) Hour - when will be its appointed time? Say: "The knowledge thereof is with my Lord (alone): None but He can reveal as to when it will occur. Heavy were its burden through the heavens and the earth. Only, all of a sudden will it come to you." They ask thee as if thou Wert eager in search thereof: Say: "The knowledge thereof is with Allah (alone), but most men know not."
Urdu:قیامت کے متعلق تجھ سے پوچھتے ہیں کہ اس کی آمد کا کونسا وقت ہے کہہ دو اس کی خبر تو میرے رب ہی کے ہاں ہے وہی اس کے وقت پر ظاہر کر دکھائے گا وہ آسمانو ں اور زمین میں بھاری بات ہے وہ تم پر محض اچانک آجائے گی تجھ سے پوچھتے ہیں گویا کہ تو اس کی تلاش میں لگا ہوا ہے کہہ دو اس کی خبر خاص الله ہی کے ہاں ہے لیکن اکثر لوگ نہیں سمجھتے
