67	مَا كَانَ لِنَبِيٍّ أَن يَكُونَ لَهُ أَسْرَىٰ حَتَّىٰ يُثْخِنَ فِي الْأَرْضِ ۚ تُرِيدُونَ عَرَضَ الدُّنْيَا وَاللَّهُ يُرِيدُ الْآخِرَةَ ۗ وَاللَّهُ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌ

Transliteration 67:

Ma kana linabiyyin an yakoona lahu asra hatta yuthkhina fee alardi tureedoona AAarada alddunya waAllahu yureedu alakhirata waAllahu AAazeezun hakeemun

Yusuf Ali 67:

It is not fitting for a prophet that he should have prisoners of war until he hath thoroughly subdued the land. Ye look for the temporal goods of this world; but Allah looketh to the Hereafter: And Allah is Exalted in might, Wise.

Urdu 67:

نبی کو نہیں چاہیئے کہ اپنے ہاں قیدیوں کو رکھے یہاں تک کہ ملک میں خوب خونریزی کر لے تم دنیا کی زندگی کا سامان چاہتے ہو اور الله آخرت کا ارادہ کرتا ہے اور الله غالب حکمت والا ہے
