70 | أَلَمْ يَأْتِهِمْ نَبَأُ الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ قَوْمِ نُوحٍ وَعَادٍ وَثَمُودَ وَقَوْمِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَأَصْحَابِ مَدْيَنَ وَالْمُؤْتَفِكَاتِ ۚ أَتَتْهُمْ رُسُلُهُم بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ ۖ فَمَا كَانَ اللَّهُ لِيَظْلِمَهُمْ وَلَـٰكِن كَانُوا أَنفُسَهُمْ يَظْلِمُونَ |
| | | | Transliteration 70: | Alam yatihim nabao allatheena min qablihim qawmi noohin waAAadin wathamooda waqawmi ibraheema waashabi madyana waalmutafikati atathum rusuluhum bialbayyinati fama kana Allahu liyathlimahum walakin kanoo anfusahum yathlimoona |

To them came their messengers with clear signs. It is not Allah Who wrongs them, but they wrong their own souls. |
| | | | Urdu 70: | کیا انہیں ان لوگو ں کی خبر نہیں پہنچی جو ان سے پہلے تھے نوح کی قوم اور عاد اور ثمود اورابراھیم کی قوم اورمدین والوں کی اوران بستیوں کی خبر جو الٹ دی گئی تھیں ان کے پاس ان کے رسول صاف احکام لے کر پہنچے سو الله ایسا نہ تھا کہ ان پر ظلم کرتا لیکن وہی اپنے آپ پر ظلم کرتے تھے |
