Bismi Allahi alrrahmani alrraheemi
109.وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَا مِن قَبْلِكَ إِلَّا رِجَالًا نُّوحِي إِلَيْهِم مِّنْ أَهْلِ الْقُرَىٰ ۗ أَفَلَمْ يَسِيرُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ فَيَنظُرُوا كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ ۗ وَلَدَارُ الْآخِرَةِ خَيْرٌ لِّلَّذِينَ اتَّقَوْا ۗ أَفَلَا تَعْقِلُونَ
Transliteration:Wama arsalna min qablika illa rijalan noohee ilayhim min ahli alqura afalam yaseeroo fee alardi fayanthuroo kayfa kana AAaqibatu allatheena min qablihim waladaru alakhirati khayrun lillatheena ittaqaw afala taAAqiloona
Yusuf Ali:Nor did We send before thee (as messengers) any but men, whom we did inspire,- (men) living in human habitations. Do they not travel through the earth, and see what was the end of those before them? But the home of the hereafter is best, for those who do right. Will ye not then understand?
Urdu:ااور تجھ سے پہلے ہم نے جتنے پیغمبر بھیجے وہ سب بستیو ں کے رہنے و الے مرد ہی تھے ہم ان کی طرف وحی بھیجتے تھے پھر وہ زمین میں سیر کر کے کیوں نہیں دیکھتے کہ ان لوگو ں کا انجام کیا ہوا جوان سے پہلے تھے اور البتہ آخرت کا گھر پرہیز کرنے والوں کے لیے بہتر ہے پھر تم کیوں نہیں سمجھتے
