27 | يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تَدْخُلُوا بُيُوتًا غَيْرَ بُيُوتِكُمْ حَتَّىٰ تَسْتَأْنِسُوا وَتُسَلِّمُوا عَلَىٰ أَهْلِهَا ۚ ذَٰلِكُمْ خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَذَكَّرُونَ |
| | | | Transliteration 27: | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo la tadkhuloo buyootan ghayra buyootikum hatta tastanisoo watusallimoo AAala ahliha thalikum khayrun lakum laAAallakum tathakkaroona |
| | | | Yusuf Ali 27: | O ye who believe! enter not houses other than your own, until ye have asked permission and saluted those in them: that is best for you, in order that ye may heed (what is seemly). |
| | | | Urdu 27: | اے ایمان والو اپنے گھروں کے سوا اور کسی کے گھروں میں نہ جایا کرو جب تک اجازت نہ لے لو او رگھر والوں پر سلام نہ کر لو یہ تہارے لیے بہتر ہے تاکہ تم نصیحت حاصل کرو |

28 | فَإِن لَّمْ تَجِدُوا فِيهَا أَحَدًا فَلَا تَدْخُلُوهَا حَتَّىٰ يُؤْذَنَ لَكُمْ ۖ وَإِن قِيلَ لَكُمُ ارْجِعُوا فَارْجِعُوا ۖ هُوَ أَزْكَىٰ لَكُمْ ۚ وَاللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ عَلِيمٌ |
| | | | Transliteration 28: | Fain lam tajidoo feeha ahadan fala tadkhulooha hatta yuthana lakum wain qeela lakumu irjiAAoo fairjiAAoo huwa azka lakum waAllahu bima taAAmaloona AAaleemun |
| | | | Yusuf Ali 28: | If ye find no one in the house, enter not until permission is given to you: if ye are asked to go back, go back: that makes for greater purity for yourselves: and Allah knows well all that ye do. |
| | | | Urdu 28: | پھر اگر وہاں کسی کو نہ پاؤ تو اندر نہ جاؤ جب تک کہ تمہیں اجازت نہ دی جائے اور اگر تمہیں کہا جائے کہ لوٹ جاؤ تو اپس چلے جاؤ یہ تمہارے حق میں بہتر ہے اور جو کچھ تم کرتے ہو الله جانتا ہے |

29 | لَّيْسَ عَلَيْكُمْ جُنَاحٌ أَن تَدْخُلُوا بُيُوتًا غَيْرَ مَسْكُونَةٍ فِيهَا مَتَاعٌ لَّكُمْ ۚ وَاللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ مَا تُبْدُونَ وَمَا تَكْتُمُونَ |
| | | | Transliteration 29: | Laysa AAalaykum junahun an tadkhuloo buyootan ghayra maskoonatin feeha mataAAun lakum waAllahu yaAAlamu ma tubdoona wama taktumoona |
| | | | Yusuf Ali 29: | It is no fault on your part to enter houses not used for living in, which serve some (other) use for you: And Allah has knowledge of what ye reveal and what ye conceal. |
| | | | Urdu 29: | تم پراس میں کوئی گناہ نہیں کہ ان گھروں میں جاؤ جہاں کوئی نہیں بستا ان میں تمہارا سامان ہے اور الله جانتا ہے جو تم ظاہر کرتے ہو اور جو تم چھپاتے ہو |
