(3) And the chiefs of firon's people said: Do you leave Musa and his people to make mischief in the land and to forsake you and your gods? He said: We will slay their sons and spare their women, and surely we are masters over them.

(4) And certainly We overtook firon's people with droughts and diminution of fruits that they may be mindful.

(5) And when We delivered you from firon's people who subjected you to severe torment, killing your sons and sparing your women, and in this there was a great trial from your Lord.

(6) In the manner of the people of Firon and those before them; they rejected the communications of their Lord, therefore We destroyed them on account of their faults and We drowned firon's people, and they were all unjust.

(7) To Firon and his chiefs, but they followed the bidding of Firon, and firon's bidding was not right-directing.

(8) And when Musa said to his people: Call to mind Allah's favor to you when He delivered you from firon's people, who subjected you to severe torment, and slew your sons and spared your women; and in this there was a great trial from your Lord.

(9) So they cast down their cords and their rods and said: By firon's power, we shall most surely be victorious.

(10) And firon's family took him up that he might be an enemy and a grief for them; surely Firon and Haman and their hosts were wrongdoers.
