(1) He has only forbidden you what dies of itself, and blood, and flesh of swine, and that over which any other (name) than (that of) Allah has been invoked; but whoever is driven to necessity, not desiring, nor exceeding the limit, no sin shall be upon him; surely Allah is forgiving, Merciful.

(2) But he who fears an inclination to a wrong course or an act of disobedience on the part of the testator, and effects an agreement between the parties, there is no blame on him. Surely Allah is forgiving, Merciful.

(3) But if they desist, then surely Allah is forgiving, Merciful.

(4) Then hasten on from the Place from which the people hasten on and ask the forgiveness of Allah; surely Allah is forgiving, Merciful.

(5) Surely those who believed and those who fled (their home) and strove hard in the way of Allah these hope for the mercy of Allah and Allah is forgiving, Merciful.

(6) Allah does not call you to account for what is vain in your oaths, but He will call you to account for what your hearts have earned, and Allah is forgiving, Forbearing.

(7) Those who swear that they will not go in to their wives should wait four months; so if they go back, then Allah is surely forgiving, Merciful.

(8) And there is no blame on you respecting that which you speak indirectly in the asking of (such) women in marriage or keep (the proposal) concealed within your minds; Allah knows that you will mention them, but do not give them a promise in secret unless you speak in a lawful manner, and do not confirm the marriage tie until the writing is fulfilled, and know that Allah knows what is in your minds, therefore beware of Him, and know that Allah is forgiving, Forbearing.

(9) Say: If you love Allah, then follow me, Allah will love you and forgive you your faults, and Allah is forgiving, Merciful.

(10) Except those who repent after that and amend, then surely Allah is forgiving, Merciful.
