The word(s) "miskin" appears 11 time(s) in 11 verse(s) in Quran in Mohsin Khan translation.

(1) [Observing Saum (fasts)] for a fixed number of days, but if any of you is ill or on a journey, the same number (should be made up) from other days. And as for those who can fast with difficulty, (e.g. an old man), they have (a choice either to fast or) to feed a miskin (poor person) (for every day). But whoever does good of his own accord, it is better for him. And that you fast is better for you if only you know.
(2) And give to the kinsman his due and to the miskin (poor) and to the wayfarer. But spend not wastefully (your wealth) in the manner of a spendthrift. (Tafsir At-Tabari)
(3) So give to the kindred his due, and to Al-miskin (the poor) and to the wayfarer. That is best for those who seek Allah's Countenance; and it is they who will be successful.
(4) And he who finds not (the money for freeing a slave) must fast two successive months before they both touch each other. And he who is unable to do so, should feed sixty miskins (poor). That is in order that you may have perfect Faith in Allah and His Messenger. These are the limits set by Allah. And for disbelievers, there is a painful torment.
(5) "No miskin (poor man) shall enter upon you into it today."
(6) And urged not on the feeding of Al-miskin (the poor).
(7) "Nor we used to feed Al-miskin (the poor);
(8) And they give food, inspite of their love for it (or for the love of Him), to the miskin (the poor), the orphan, and the captive
(9) And urge not one another on the feeding of Al-miskin (the poor)!
(10) Or to a miskin (poor) cleaving to dust (out of misery).
