How uncomfortable a couch to recline on!

(2) As also 'Ad and Thamud, and the Companions of the rass, and many a generation between them.

(3) And to Solomon (We made) the Wind (obedient): Its early morning (stride) was a month's (journey), and its evening (stride) was a month's (journey); and We made a Font of molten brass to flow for him; and there were Jinns that worked in front of him, by the leave of his Lord, and if any of them turned aside from our command, We made him taste of the Penalty of the Blazing Fire.

(4) "And take in thy hand a little grass, and strike therewith: and break not (thy oath)." Truly We found him full of patience and constancy. How excellent in Our service! ever did he turn (to Us)!

(5) Like molten brass; it will boil in their insides.

(6) Before them was denied (the Hereafter) by the People of Noah, the Companions of the rass, the Thamud,

(7) The Day that the sky will be like molten brass,
