(1) It is He Who has created the heavens and the earth in truth, and on the Day (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) He will say: "Be!", - and it is! His Word is the Truth. His will be the dominion on the Day when the trumpet will be blown. All-Knower of the unseen and the seen. He is the All-Wise, Well-Aware (of all things).

(2) And on that Day [i.e. the Day Ya'juj and Ma'juj (Gog and Magog) will come out], We shall leave them to surge like waves on one another; and the trumpet will be blown, and We shall collect them (the creatures) all together.

(3) The Day when the trumpet will be blown (the second blowing): that Day, We shall gather the Mujrimun (criminals, polytheists, sinners, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah) blue or blind-eyed with thirst.

(4) Then, when the trumpet is blown, there will be no kinship among them that Day, nor will they ask of one another.

(5) And (remember) the Day on which the trumpet will be blown - and all who are in the heavens and all who are on the earth, will be terrified except him whom Allah will (exempt). And all shall come to Him, humbled.

(6) And the trumpet will be blown (i.e. the second blowing) and behold from the graves they will come out quickly to their Lord.

(7) It will be a single Zajrah [shout (i.e. the second blowing of the trumpet)], and behold, they will be staring!

(8) And these only wait for a single Saihah [shout (i.e. the blowing of the trumpet by the angel Israfil -)] there will be no pause or ending thereto [till everything will perish except Allah (the only God full of Majesty, Bounty and Honour)].

(9) And the trumpet will be blown, and all who are in the heavens and all who are on the earth will swoon away, except him whom Allah wills. Then it will be blown a second time, and behold they will be standing, looking on (waiting).

(10) And the trumpet will be blown - that will be the Day whereof warning (had been given) (i.e. the Day of Resurrection).
