(17) He said: "And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord, but such as go astray?"

(18) Who receiveth guidance, receiveth it for his own benefit: who goeth astray doth so to his own loss: No bearer of burdens can bear the burden of another: nor would We visit with Our Wrath until We had sent an messenger (to give warning).

(19) See what similes they strike for thee: but they have gone astray, and never can they find a way.

(20) But those who were blind in this world, will be blind in the hereafter, and most astray from the Path.
