(101) And the Unbelievers said to their messengers: "Be sure we shall drive you out of our land, or ye shall return to our religion." But their Lord inspired (this Message) to them: "Verily We shall cause the wrong-doers to perish!

(102) "O our Lord! cover (us) with Thy Forgiveness - me, my parents, and (all) believers, on the Day that the Reckoning will be established!

(103) Strain not thine eyes. (Wistfully) at what We have bestowed on certain classes of them, nor grieve over them: but lower thy wing (in gentleness) to the believers.

(104) Then, on the Day of Judgment, He will cover them with shame, and say: "Where are My 'partners' concerning whom ye used to dispute (with the godly)?" Those endued with knowledge will say: "This Day, indeed, are the Unbelievers covered with shame and misery,-

(105) One Day We shall raise from all Peoples a Witness: then will no excuse be accepted from Unbelievers, nor will they receive any favours.

(106) Verily this Qur'an doth guide to that which is most right (or stable), and giveth the Glad Tidings to the believers who work deeds of righteousness, that they shall have a magnificent reward;

(107) (He hath made it) Straight (and Clear) in order that He may warn (the godless) of a terrible Punishment from Him, and that He may give Glad Tidings to the believers who work righteous deeds, that they shall have a goodly Reward,

(108) We only send the messengers to give Glad Tidings and to give warnings: But the unbelievers dispute with vain argument, in order therewith to weaken the truth, and they treat My Signs as a jest, as also the fact that they are warned!

(109) And We shall present Hell that day for Unbelievers to see, all spread out,-

(110) (Unbelievers) whose eyes had been under a veil from remembrance of Me, and who had been unable even to hear.
