(2) We took the Children of Israel (with safety) across the sea. They came upon a people devoted entirely to some idols they had. They said: "O Moses! fashion for us a god like unto the gods they have." He said: "Surely ye are a people without knowledge.

(3) (Moses) said: "Get thee gone! but thy (punishment) in this life will be that thou wilt say, 'touch me not'; and moreover (for a future penalty) thou hast a promise that will not fail: Now look at thy god, of whom thou hast become a devoted worshipper: We will certainly (melt) it in a blazing fire and scatter it broadcast in the sea!"

(4) Behold! he said to his father and his people, "What are these images, to which ye are (so assiduously) devoted?"

(5) But the sincere (and devoted) Servants of Allah,-

(6) Except the sincere (and devoted) Servants of Allah.

(7) Except the sincere and devoted Servants of Allah (among them).

(8) Not (so do) the Servants of Allah, sincere and devoted.

(9) "We should certainly have been Servants of Allah, sincere (and devoted)!"

(10) Round about them will serve, (devoted) to them, young male servants (handsome) as Pearls well-guarded.
