(37) "Go, thou and thy brother, with My Signs, and slacken not, either of you, in keeping Me in remembrance.

(38) "But we can surely produce magic to match thine! So make a tryst between us and thee, which we shall not fail to keep - neither we nor thou - in a place where both shall have even chances."

(39) Verily he who comes to his Lord as a sinner (at Judgment),- for him is Hell: therein shall he neither die nor live.

(40) Could they not see that it could not return them a word (for answer), and that it had no power either to harm them or to do them good?
