(43) And when you forsake them and what they worship save Allah, betake yourselves for refuge to the cave; your Lord will extend to you largely of His mercy and provide for you a profitable course in your affair.

(44) And thus did We make (men) to get knowledge of them that they might know that Allah's promise is true and that as for the hour there is no doubt about it. When they disputed among themselves about their affair and said: Erect an edifice over them-- their Lord best knows them. Those who prevailed in their affair said: We will certainly raise a masjid over them.

(45) He said: Blame me not for what I forgot, and do not constrain me to a difficult thing in my affair.

(46) And make my affair easy to me,

(47) And associate him (with me) in my affair,

(48) So they disputed with one another about their affair and kept the discourse secret.

(49) We know best what they say, when the fairest of them in course would say: You tarried but a day.

(50) But if they turn back, say: I have given you warning in fairness and I do not know whether what you are threatened with is near or far;
