(47) Kill not your children for fear of want: We shall provide sustenance for them as well as for you. Verily the killing of them is a great sin.

(48) Glory to Him! He is high above all that they say!- Exalted and great (beyond measure)!

(49) We have honoured the sons of Adam; provided them with transport on land and sea; given them for sustenance things good and pure; and conferred on them special favours, above a great part of our creation.

(50) Except for Mercy from thy Lord: for his bounty is to thee (indeed) great.
