(122) We verily sent Moses with Our revelations, saying: Bring thy people forth from darkness unto light. And remind them of the days of Allah. Lo! therein are revelations for each steadfast, thankful (heart).

(123) Our Lord! Lo! I have settled some of my posterity in an uncultivable valley near unto Thy holy House, our Lord! that they may establish proper worship; so incline some hearts of men that they may yearn toward them, and provide Thou them with fruits in order that they may be thankful.

(124) Praise be to Allah Who hath given me, in my old age, Ishmael and Isaac! Lo! my Lord is indeed the hearer of Prayer.

(125) As they come hurrying on in fear, their heads upraised, their gaze returning not to them, and their hearts as air.

(126) Thus do We make it traverse the hearts of the guilty:

(127) Save him who stealeth the hearing, and them doth a clear flame pursue.

(128) Your Allah is One Allah. But as for those who believe not in the Hereafter their hearts refuse to know, for they are proud.

(129) Allah sendeth down water from the sky and therewith reviveth the earth after her death. Lo! herein is indeed a portent for a folk who hear.

(130) And Allah brought you forth from the wombs of your mothers knowing nothing, and gave you hearing and sight and hearts that haply ye might give thanks.
