(11) And when they commit a Fahishah (evil deed, going round the Ka'bah in naked state, and every kind of unlawful sexual intercourse), they say: "We found our fathers doing it, and Allah has commanded it on us." Say: "Nay, Allah never commands Fahishah. Do you say of Allah what you know not?"
(12) And his wife was standing (there), and she laughed [either, because the messengers did not eat their food or for being glad for the destruction of the people of Lut (Lot)]. But We gave her glad tidings of ishaq (Isaac), and after ishaq, of Ya'qub (Jacob).
(13) "Thus will your Lord choose you and teach you the interpretation of dreams (and other things) and perfect His Favour on you and on the offspring of Ya'qub (Jacob), as He perfected it on your fathers, Ibrahim (Abraham) and ishaq (Isaac) aforetime! Verily, your Lord is All-Knowing, All-Wise."
(14) "And I have followed the religion of my fathers, - Ibrahim (Abraham), ishaq (Isaac) and Ya'qub (Jacob) [عليهم السلام], and never could we attribute any partners whatsoever to Allah. This is from the Grace of Allah to us and to mankind, but most men thank not (i.e. they neither believe in Allah, nor worship Him).
(15) "All the praises and thanks be to Allah, Who has given me in old age Isma'il (Ishmael) and ishaq (Isaac). Verily! My Lord is indeed the All-Hearer of invocations.
(16) And come not near to unlawful sex. Verily, it is a Fahishah (i.e. anything that transgresses its limits: a great sin), and an evil way (that leads one to Hell unless Allah forgives him).
(17) Perform As-Salat (Iqamat-as-Salat) from mid-day till the darkness of the night (i.e. the Zuhr, 'Asr, Maghrib and 'isha' prayers), and recite the Qur'an in the early dawn (i.e. the morning prayer). Verily, the recitation of the Qur'an in the early dawn is ever witnessed (attended by the angels in charge of mankind of the day and the night) .
(18) So when he had turned away from them and from those whom they worshipped besides Allah, We gave him ishaq (Isaac) and Ya'qub (Jacob), and each one of them We made a Prophet.
(19) And We bestowed upon him ishaq (Isaac), and (a grandson) Ya'qub (Jacob). Each one We made righteous.
(20) Verily those who brought forth the slander (against 'Aishah رضي الله عنها the wife of the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم) are a group among you. Consider it not a bad thing for you. Nay, it is good for you. Unto every man among them will be paid that which he had earned of the sin, and as for him among them who had the greater share therein, his will be a great torment.
