(46) Unless Allah pleases; and remember your Lord when you forget and say: Maybe my Lord will guide me to a nearer course to the right than this.

(47) So we desired that their Lord might give them in his place one better than him in purity and nearer to having compassion.

(48) Their reckoning has drawn near to men, and in heedlessness are they turning aside.

(49) But if they turn back, say: I have given you warning in fairness and I do not know whether what you are threatened with is near or far;

(50) He calls upon him whose harm is nearer than his profit; evil certainly is the guardian and evil certainly is the associate.
