(61) And the earth have We spread out, and placed therein firm hills, and caused each seemly thing to grow therein.

(64) And when We put a revelation in place of (another) revelation, - and Allah knoweth best what He revealeth - they say: Lo! thou art but inventing. Most of them know not.

(65) Glorified be He Who carried His servant by night from the Inviolable place of Worship to the Far distant place of worship the neighbourhood whereof We have blessed, that We might show him of Our tokens! Lo! He, only He, is the Hearer, the Seer.

(66) And when thou recitest the Qur'an we place between thee and those who believe not in the Hereafter a hidden barrier;

(67) And We place upon their hearts veils lest they should understand it, and in their ears a deafness; and when thou makest mention of thy Lord alone in the Qur'an, they turn their backs in aversion.

(68) Praise be to Allah Who hath revealed the Scripture unto His slave, and hath not placed therein any crookedness,

(69) Lo! We have placed all that is on the earth as an ornament thereof that We may try them: which of them is best in conduct.

(70) And in like manner We disclosed them (to the people of the city) that they might know that the promise of Allah is true, and that, as for the Hour, there is no doubt concerning it. When (the people of the city) disputed of their case among themselves, they said: Build over them a building; their Lord knoweth best concerning them. Those who won their point said: We verily shall build a place of worship over them.
