(21) But hymn the praise of thy Lord, and be of those who make prostration (unto Him).

(22) Allah coineth a similitude: (on the one hand) a (mere) chattel slave, who hath control of nothing, and (on the other hand) one on whom we have bestowed a fair provision from Us, and he spendeth thereof secretly and openly. Are they equal? praise be to Allah! But most of them know not.

(23) The seven heavens and the earth and all that is therein praise Him, and there is not a thing but hymneth His praise; but ye understand not their praise. Lo! He is ever Clement, Forgiving.

(24) A day when He will call you and ye will answer with His praise, and ye will think that ye have tarried but a little while.

(25) And some part of the night awake for it, a largess for thee. It may be that thy Lord will raise thee to a praised estate.

(26) And say: praise be to Allah, Who hath not taken unto Himself a son, and Who hath no partner in the Sovereignty, nor hath He any protecting friend through dependence. And magnify Him with all magnificence.

(27) praise be to Allah Who hath revealed the Scripture unto His slave, and hath not placed therein any crookedness,

(28) Therefor (O Muhammad), bear with what they say, and celebrate the praise of thy Lord ere the rising of the sun and ere the going down thereof. And glorify Him some hours of the night and at the two ends of the day, that thou mayst find acceptance.

(29) And We made Solomon to understand (the case); and unto each of them We gave judgment and knowledge. And we subdued the hills and the birds to hymn (His) praise along with David. We were the doers (thereof).

(30) Unto Him belongeth all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth. Lo! Allah, He verily is the Absolute, the Owner of praise.
