(1) Attend constantly to prayers and to the middle prayer and stand up truly obedient to Allah.

(3) But the firm in knowledge among them and the believers believe in what has been revealed to. you and what was revealed before you, and those who keep up prayers and those who give the poor-rate and the believers in Allah and the last day, these it is whom We will give a mighty reward.

(4) Only Allah is your Vali and His Apostle and those who believe, those who keep up prayers and pay the poor-rate while they bow.

(5) And this is a Book We have revealed, blessed, verifying that which is before it, and that you may warn the metropolis and those around her; and those who believe in the hereafter believe in it, and they attend to their prayers constantly.

(6) And of the dwellers of the desert are those who believe in Allah and the latter day and take what they spend to be (means of) the nearness of Allah and the Apostle's prayers; surely it shall be means of nearness for them; Allah will make them enter into His mercy; surely Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.

(7) But there came after them an evil generation, who neglected prayers and followed and sensual desires, so they win meet perdition,

(8) Who are humble in their prayers,

(9) And those who keep a guard on their prayers;

(10) And glorify Him in the night and after the prayers.
