(1) He it is Who has created you from clay, and then has decreed a (stated) term (for you to die). And there is with Him another determined term (for you to be resurrected), yet you doubt (in the Resurrection).

(2) And they said: "There is no (other life) but our (present) life of this world, and never shall we be resurrected (on the Day of Resurrection)."

(3) He said: "Therein you shall live, and therein you shall die, and from it you shall be brought out (i.e. resurrected)."

(4) [Iblis (Satan)] said: "O my Lord! Give me then respite till the Day they (the dead) will be resurrected."

(5) And they say: "When we are bones and fragments (destroyed), should we really be resurrected (to be) a new creation?"

(6) "Or some created thing that is yet greater (or harder) in your breasts (thoughts to be resurrected, even then you shall be resurrected)." Then, they will say: "Who shall bring us back (to life)?" Say: "He Who created you first!" Then, they will shake their heads at you and say: "When will that be?" Say: "Perhaps it is near!"

(7) And the true promise (Day of Resurrection) shall draw near (of fulfillment). Then (when mankind is resurrected from their graves), you shall see the eyes of the disbelievers fixedly staring in horror. (They will say): "Woe to us! We were indeed heedless of this - nay, but we were Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers)."

(8) Then (again), surely, you will be resurrected on the Day of Resurrection.

(9) "Does he promise you that when you have died and have become dust and bones, you shall come out alive (resurrected)?

(10) "There is nothing but our life of this world! We die and we live! And we are not going to be resurrected!
