(145) And We made from among them (Children of Israel), leaders, giving guidance under Our Command, when they were patient and used to believe with certainty in Our Ayat (proofs, evidence, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.).

(146) But those who strive against Our Ayat (proofs, evidence, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) to frustrate them - those, for them will be a severe painful torment.

(147) And those who strive against Our Ayat (proofs, evidence, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), to frustrate them, they will be brought to the torment.

(148) Say (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم): "Verily my Lord sends down (revelation and makes apparent) the truth (i.e. this revelation that had come to me), the All-Knower of the Ghaib (Unseen).

(149) Say (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم): "Al-Haqq (the truth i.e. the Qur'an and Allah's revelation) has come, and Al-Batil [falsehood - Iblis (Satan)] can neither create anything nor resurrect (anything)."

(150) Say: "If (even) I go astray, I shall stray only to my own loss. But if I remain guided, it is because of the revelation of my Lord to me. Truly, He is All-Hearer, Ever Near (to all things)."
