(1) O ye who believe! When ye go abroad in the cause of Allah, investigate carefully, and say not to any one who offers you a salutation: "Thou art none of a believer!" Coveting the perishable goods of this life: with Allah are profits and spoils abundant. Even thus were ye yourselves before, till Allah conferred on you His favours: Therefore carefully investigate. For Allah is well aware of all that ye do.

(2) Gardens of perpetual bliss: they shall enter there, as well as the righteous among their fathers, their spouses, and their offspring: and angels shall enter unto them from every gate (with the salutation):

(3) They will not there hear any vain discourse, but only salutations of Peace: And they will have therein their sustenance, morning and evening.

(4) Those are the ones who will be rewarded with the highest place in heaven, because of their patient constancy: therein shall they be met with salutations and peace,

(5) Their salutation on the Day they meet Him will be "Peace!"; and He has prepared for them a generous Reward.

(6) "Peace!" - a word (of salutation) from a Lord Most Merciful!

(7) "Peace and salutation to Noah among the nations!"

(8) "Peace and salutation to Abraham!"

(9) "Peace and salutation to Moses and Aaron!"

(10) "Peace and salutation to such as Elias!"
