(1) And when We parted the sea for you, so We saved you and drowned the followers of Firon and you watched by.

(2) And hold fast by the covenant of Allah all together and be not disunited, and remember the favor of Allah on you when you were enemies, then He united your hearts so by His favor you became brethren; and you were on the brink of a pit of fire, then He saved you from it, thus does Allah make clear to you His communications that you may follow the right way.

(3) When Allah showed them to you in your dream as few; and if He had shown them to you as many you would certainly have become weak-hearted and you would have disputed about the matter, but Allah saved (you); surely He is the Knower of what is in the breasts.

(4) So when Our decree came to pass, We delivered Salih and those who believed with him by mercy from Us, and (We saved them) from the disgrace of that day; surely your Lord is the Strong, the Mighty.

(5) And We saved Musa and those with him, all of them.

(6) And had those who are unjust all that is in the earth and the like of it with it, they would certainly offer it as ransom (to be saved) from the evil of the punishment on the day of resurrection; and what they never thought of shall become plain to them from Allah.

(7) Rejoicing because of what their Lord gave them, and their Lord saved them from the punishment of the burning fire.

(8) But Allah has been gracious to us and He has saved us from the punishment of the hot wind:

(9) Surely We sent upon them a stonestorm, except Lut's followers; We saved them a little before daybreak,

(10) Therefore be careful of (your duty to) Allah as much as you can, and hear and obey and spend, it is better for your souls; and whoever is saved from the greediness of his soul, these it is that are the successful.
