(42) And Who sends down water (rain) from the sky in due measure, then We revive a dead land therewith, and even so you will be brought forth (from the graves).

(43) Then wait you for the Day when the sky will bring forth a visible smoke,

(44) And in the alternation of night and day, and the provision (rain) that Allah sends down from the sky, and revives therewith the earth after its death, and in the turning about of the winds (i.e. sometimes towards the east or north, and sometimes towards the south or west sometimes bringing glad tidings of rain etc., and sometimes bringing the torment), are signs for a people who understand.

(45) And We send down blessed water (rain) from the sky, then We produce therewith gardens and grain (every kind of harvests) that are reaped.

(46) The Day that the sky will be like the boiling filth of oil, (or molten copper or silver or lead).

(47) By the sky (having rain clouds) which gives rain, again and again.
