(1) And He it is Who sendeth the winds as tidings heralding His mercy, till, when they bear a cloud heavy (with rain), We lead it to a dead land, and then cause water to descend thereon and thereby bring forth fruits of every kind. Thus bring We forth the dead. Haply ye may remember.
(2) And lo! We shall make all that is thereon a barren mound.
(3) Give me pieces of iron - till, when he had levelled up (the gap) between the cliffs, he said: Blow! - till, when he had made it a fire, he said: Bring me molten copper to pour thereon.
(4) Lo! We, only We, inherit the earth and all who are thereon, and unto Us they are returned.

(8) Allah it is Who hath made the sea of service unto you that the ships may run thereon by His command, and that ye may seek of His bounty, and that haply ye may be thankful;
(9) And the earth have We spread out, and have flung firm hills therein, and have caused of every lovely kind to grow thereon,
(10) Everyone that is thereon will pass away;
