(1) Allah will throw back their mockery on them, and give them rope in their trespasses; so they will wander like blind ones (To and fro).

(3) Why should ye be divided into two parties about the Hypocrites? Allah hath upset them for their (evil) deeds. Would ye guide those whom Allah hath thrown out of the Way? For those whom Allah hath thrown out of the Way, never shalt thou find the Way.

(6) Of them there are some who (pretend to) listen to thee; but We have thrown veils on their hearts, So they understand it not, and deafness in their ears; if they saw every one of the signs, not they will believe in them; in so much that when they come to thee, they (but) dispute with thee; the Unbelievers say: "These are nothing but tales of the ancients."

(7) He said: "Because thou hast thrown me out of the way, lo! I will lie in wait for them on thy straight way:

(8) They said: "O Moses! wilt thou throw (first), or shall we have the (first) throw?"

(9) Said Moses: "throw ye (first)." So when they threw, they bewitched the eyes of the people, and struck terror into them: for they showed a great (feat of) magic.

(10) We put it into Moses's mind by inspiration: "throw (now) thy rod": and behold! it swallows up straight away all the falsehoods which they fake!
