I did it not of my own accord. Such is the interpretation of (those things) over which thou wast unable to hold patience."

(54) Until, when he reached (a tract) between two mountains, he found, beneath them, a people who scarcely understood a word.

(55) "Bring me blocks of iron." At length, when he had filled up the space between the two steep mountain-sides, He said, "Blow (with your bellows)" Then, when he had made it (red) as fire, he said: "Bring me, that I may pour over it, molten lead."

(56) When Our Clear Signs are rehearsed to them, the Unbelievers say to those who believe, "Which of the two sides is best in point of position? Which makes the best show in council?"

(57) "In order that We may show thee (two) of our Greater Signs.

(58) (When this message was delivered), (Pharaoh) said: "Who, then, O Moses, is the Lord of you two?"

(59) They said: "These two are certainly (expert) magicians: their object is to drive you out from your land with their magic, and to do away with your most cherished institutions.

(60) These two antagonists dispute with each other about their Lord: But those who deny (their Lord),- for them will be cut out a garment of Fire: over their heads will be poured out boiling water.
