(141) Seest thou not that Allah sends down rain from the sky, and leads it through springs in the earth? Truly, in this, is a Message of remembrance to men of understanding.

(142) Now, when trouble touches man, he cries to Us: But when We bestow a favour upon him as from Ourselves, he says, "This has been given to me because of a certain knowledge (I have)!" Nay, but this is but a trial, but most of them understand not!

(143) A Guide and a Message to men of understanding.

(144) Assuredly the creation of the heavens and the earth is a greater (matter) than the creation of men: Yet most men understand not.

(145) A Book, whereof the verses are explained in detail;- a Qur'an in Arabic, for people who understand;-

(146) They say: "Our hearts are under veils, (concealed) from that to which thou dost invite us, and in our ears in a deafness, and between us and thee is a screen: so do thou (what thou wilt); for us, we shall do (what we will!)"

(147) But if they turn away, say thou: "I have warned you of a stunning Punishment (as of thunder and lightning) like that which (overtook) the 'Ad and the Thamud!"

(148) The heavens are almost rent asunder from above them (by Him Glory): and the angels celebrate the Praises of their Lord, and pray for forgiveness for (all) beings on earth: Behold! Verily Allah is He, the Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

(149) We have made it a Qur'an in Arabic, that ye may be able to understand (and learn wisdom).

(150) And Pharaoh proclaimed among his people, saying: "O my people! Does not the dominion of Egypt belong to me, (witness) these streams flowing underneath my (palace)? What! see ye not then?
