(22) And certainly We sent Nuh to his people: Surely I am a plain warner for you:

(23) And those who disbelieve say: Why has not a sign been sent down upon him from his Lord? You are only a warner and (there is) a guide for every people.

(24) And warn people of the day when the chastisement shall come to them, then those who were unjust will say: O our Lord! respite us to a near term, (so) we shall respond to Thy call and follow the apostles. What! did you not swear before (that) there will be no passing away for you!

(25) This is a sufficient exposition for the people and that they may be warned thereby, and that they may know that He is One Allah and that those possessed of understanding may mind.

(26) And say: Surely I am the plain warner.

(27) He sends down the angels with the inspiration by His commandment on whom He pleases of His servants, saying: Give the warning that there is no god but Me, therefore be careful (of your duty) to Me.

(28) And certainly We have repeated (warnings) in this Quran that they may be mindful, but it does not add save to their aversion.

(29) And with truth have We revealed it, and with truth did it come; and We have not sent you but as the giver of good news and as a warner.

(30) Rightly directing, that he might give warning of severe punishment from Him and give good news to the believers who do good that they shall have a goodly reward,
