(1) But they rejected him, so We delivered him and those with him in the ark, and We made them rulers and drowned those who rejected Our communications; see then what was the end of the (people) warned.

(2) This is a sufficient exposition for the people and that they may be warned thereby, and that they may know that He is One Allah and that those possessed of understanding may mind.

(3) And We do not send apostles but as givers of good news and warning, and those who disbelieve make a false contention that they may render null thereby the truth, and they take My communications and that with which they are warned for a mockery.

(4) Say: I warn you only by revelation; and the deaf do not hear the call whenever they are warned.

(5) And We rained down upon them a rain, and evil was the rain on those warned.

(6) And We rained on them a rain, and evil was the rain of those who had been warned.

(7) That you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned, so they are heedless.

(8) Then see how was the end of those warned,

(9) But when it shall descend in their court, evil shall then be the morning of the warned ones.

(10) But if they turn aside, then say: I have warned you of a scourge like the scourge of Ad and Samood.
